[There was a few quick knocks on the door as Richie stood swaying one of his legs forwards and backwards. He had a small smile on his face as he waited for his- best friend to open the door.]

[Pete opened the door quickly, a grin on his face as he dragged Richie into the apartment.]
Hey man! I got snacks- ordered in all your favourites. Mostly mine though- cause I am letting you pick the movie-
[He rambled, pulling his best friend into his bedroom, not really giving him space to speak. Not intentionally- he was just excited to see him! He always was]
[Richie laughed as he followed, making off comments about Peters "grand kindness" and shoving him around a little.]
I've been thinking hard about this movie, yknow, Petey..
[He flopped onto Petes bed, rolling into his stomach.]
Kikis delivery service okay?
[He knew Peter actually liked Ghibli, so it was a safe, happy option for a comfy night of snacking together.]
That's the one I like, right? With the uh- girl on the broom?
[He flopped down on the bed next to richie- thinking for a moment before rolling on top of him, grinning to himself. He grabbed the bag of snacks like nothing was different]
Yea— Oh fuck-
[Richie giggled, the breath leaving him before he accommodated to the boy laying on top of him.]
Yes, dude, that one, get off me!! We haven't even put the movie on and this is hardly comfyyyyy
[He whined a little, looking back and pouting at Peter.]
Dunno what you mean man, I'm real comfy
[He smiled down at richie, opening a bag of chips- even moving down a little to put more of his weight on him]

[Richie groaned a little, having just gotten used to it all.]

[He pulled his best puppy dog eyes up at Peter, head sideways as he was squished into the mattress by his friend.]

[Peter sighed, as if richie was asking him to do something impossible. But he conceded- rolling off of him, but keeping close]

[Richie scooted so their shoulders touched, and nudged Pete.]
Thaaaanks Pete, this is why you're my best friend, see!! Cmon, stick the movie on and we can chill ouuuut-
[He rested his head against his friends shoulder, closing his eyes a little.]
[Pete let out a nervous laugh, grabbing the remote and turning on the film. Richie and he weren't exactly new to being affectionate with eachother- but it still made him heat up a little every time]
I doo remember this one being really good
You better, cause it is- cmon, get like actually comfy, dude.
[He sat up and gestured for Pete to lie down. He was trying to ignore the pounding in his chest, his sweaty palms and his racing thoughts as he kept his attention on Peter, not the film. He was always like this, nervous around Pete, despite their closeness- Well, more "because of", rather than "despite".]
[Peter let out a little laugh, lying down properly and trying to get actually comfy- resting his head against Richie, a little tension easing from his shoulders]

What is your relationship like?
Good- actually :). We're close, despite our differences. Ted wasn't around much when I was a kid- which is understandable, considering he was college age. But I've been pretty much living with him full time since I was 14. He's my friend as well as my older brother, and I'm really appreciative of him, even if we fight, and I don't say it outloud- I love him, yknow? :)
