Kim Namjoon x Black!Reader
Before he admits it he’ll keep insisting that he’s not sick, like you don’t have a pair of your own eyes. He’ll try so hard to pretend like he isn’t but he’s not fooling anyone.
You’ll have to push him into bed yourself and hold his mouth open yourself when giving him medicine.
I feel like he’s the type to want all of your attention lowkey but acts like he doesn’t need your help.
And he does his best not to be too obvious with it.
He acts like he can handle it all on his own but the state of his body says otherwise….and so does the whining.
I absolutely hc that Joonie is like that, not around the boys as much but with you, he can’t help it.
He’s insisting that he’s fine but his coughs say otherwise, you can hear the backed up mucus, yeah it’s gross but surprisingly it doesn’t bother you.
You could be putting on some vaporub on him and he’s whining about how he can do it and how you shouldn’t be working yourself like this just because he’s sick.
Boy, if you don’t just lay back so they can put the vaporub on you before you cough up a lung.
You like the moments when he falls into one of those 20 minute naps, his face squished against your chest. He’s lightly snoring and drooling, you don’t mind that at all. It’s like his body melts into yours, you don’t know where his body begins or where yours ends. You almost spend the entirety of the 20 minutes staring at the peaceful expression resting on his face. His nose is red as a tomato but it doesn’t stop the urge to kiss it.
You won’t lie, you don’t mind when he’s sick, you get to hold him as much as you want and baby him for days on end.
He pretends like he hates it when you baby him, but he actually loves it, he will fuss a little bit (in which he’s faking of course) but welcomes it anyway.
You know he loves it, because he spends most of the day laid on you or snuggled up to your side.
There’s something playing on the tv, definitely something you watched at least five times before. Though it still holds your attention just like it did the first time you watched it. Joonie’s coughing fits are soothed by your hand methodically rubbing his back. Your chest rises and falls, which silently brings Joonie to a peaceful nap.
All of his protesting that he’s not sick goes out the window when he gets a feel of your affection and care.
The duration of him being sick consists of you keeping an eye on him and copious amounts of affection. Joonie’s drowning in it and he really wouldn’t have it any other way.
Every hum of contentment doesn’t go unnoticed by you, it was your goal to have him as comfortable as possible. Let Joonie tell it he’s more than just comfortable. He doesn’t let you go without knowing just how thankful he is for you, the compliments and the thanks never stop pouring out of his mouth.

First of all the process of finding an apartment is pure chaos between the two of you just because you bicker back and forth over what you want. It does not get bad, it’s just harmless bickering.
However Seonghwa does have to monitor the two of you when you are bickering because nothing gets accomplished. You’ll end up arguing over what tile pattern you want in the kitchen.
Hwa wonders if he’s going to have to be a referee once you two actually get your apartment.
Besides that, you can’t lie, you get excited every time Joong pulls out his laptop to continue the search, it’s so domestic and comforting. The thought of having your own place with him is comforting. Just the thought of it alone is enough to put a smile on your face.
Unlike choosing the apartment, the two of you agree on what kind of furniture you want. You both have similar styles when it comes to that.
You two spend hours in IKEA. Along with being excited about picking things out for your home, you get to watch Hongjoong and how excited he is. His eyes get this dazed over look of nothing but pure happiness. You had doubts of him wanting to move in with you seeing as though that’s a huge step but he’s shown nothing but excitement at the fact that he was moving in with you. You really wouldn’t have it any other way.
Moving everything in is the hardest part for the two of you. It takes a few days and Hongjoong has the boys help which….is a difficult task in itself because of how much they get distracted. From how Wooyoung and San use the boxes as balls to play catch to how Mingi opens every one that’s handed to him because he wants to see what’s inside, yourself and Joong just want to get it over with as fast as the two of you could.
Once everything is there, the two of you start setting everything up. You already had an idea of where you wanted everything, the living room got done pretty fast because of how excited you were. Next was the kitchen, the bathroom and then the bedroom.
You put up pictures of the two of you along with the boys, you wanted it to feel like home immediately.
You and Hongjoong spend the first night staying up until the early hours of the morning. The conversation jumps from topic to topic but the content looks from both of you never cease.
You ended up in the bath, you one end and Joong on the other. His hand gripping your leg, you couldn’t stop smiling and you couldn’t deny the overwhelming joy you felt.
You knew you made the right choice and Joong felt the same way.
You looked forward to the memories you were going to make.
“The rugrats aren’t allowed here until at least three months” Hongjoong says suddenly, laughing afterwards.
“How about a year?”
“Wooyoung won’t allow that.”
You giggled, agreeing with Hongjoong. He was already trying to spend the night when you got there.
“I’m really happy, you know?” You said to Hongjoong.
“Me too.” He said with the most sincere expression, you knew he truly meant it.
He’d try to hide it, which he does semi well. He just doesn’t want to seem overbearing or to make you uncomfortable. He just can’t help but to stare at you sometimes and to do things for you. Seriously it can be any little thing and he’s jumping up to do it for you.
One of his favorite things to do with you is eating, whether it’s at a park or the dorms, he just cherishes that time he has with you. His stomach is doing numerous flips and he’s completely nervous but he oddly loves that feeling because there’s an elation that comes with it, and he just doesn’t want to come down from that high. He loves the butterflies and the sudden jolt of his stomach that comes when he sees you.
He also loves the fact that you shield him from the boys teasing, how you opt to tease and joke with them in return.
Seonghwa-
When I say this man does not stop smiling when you’re around and he’s so incredibly nice to you. Seriously he always goes out of his way to do the nicest things for you. He’s the type to cheer you up when you’re not feeling your best.
Loves just being in your presence to be honest. He’s really chill though inside his thoughts are going a mile a minute. Tries his hardest not to stare at you but he can’t help the little glances, they make his stomach do flips and he loves the feeling.
He’s also into spending quality time with you because he loves getting to know you better. He wants to know anything he can, he wants you to know that he’s always listening when you’re talking to him.
Yunho-
It’s the cutest. I can see him love giving you piggyback rides and comparing the sizes of your hands. You know this emoji 🥺 that’s him but when you’re not looking. He’s literally amazed at everything you do, gets excited too. Seriously, he's so impressed by anything you do.
He loves putting a smile on your face, he likes to see just how much he could make you laugh. And if it’s always a good day for him if he gets to see you or hangout with you.
I feel like he likes taking you to arcades and he loves helping you with the games you’re not so good at. He stands behind you and guides your hands. He seems so calm but inside he’s over the moon.
Yeosang-
You would not know at all until he tells you. He’s that good at hiding it. He's an awkward wreck when around you, he doesn’t really know how to act when around you. He gets a jolt in his stomach every time you come around, there’s an unusual surge of happiness he feels and all he knows is that he wants it to happen every day.
I feel like he’s the type to share things with you but besides that he’s quiet? He adores when you start a conversation with him, he looks forward to that and he always hopes you do whenever you’re around each other.
He’s really nice to you also which confuses the boys because he’s never that nice to them and that’s how they find out. You don’t know but the boys do.
San-
He wants skinship. Hugs, cuddles, arm linking, just anything he can get. It makes him extremely happy and unable to keep a smile off his face. He’s so sweet to you.
He blows your phone up, loves texting you but loves FaceTiming you even more. He wants to know about your day, he could listen to you go on and on with the most satisfied dazed look on his face. He sends you links from Instagram and Twitter with a message that says “this made me think of you.” And it’s always something so sweet.
He’s always pressed up against, sharing his food with you and or eating yours and pouts when you’re being stingy, “I always share with you.” He says with a pout which always makes you give in.
Mingi-
A nervous baby. He’s so jumpy and smiley around you. He never not smiles when you’re around. He offers you everything. His coat? You got it. A bite of his food? You got it. He jumps at the chance to give you anything you need.
Always invites you to places but he’s a nervous wreck before he asks because he thinks you’re going to say no. Always opens doors for you and walks extra slow because he knows he tends to walk fast. Will melt if you link arms with him so you could keep up.
I feel like he would enjoy playing video games with you and teaching you how to play his favorite ones. I also feel like he'd love doing some of your favorite things too. He literally does not mind at all and even jumps at the chance to do anything with you.
Wooyoung-
So loud. He’s so loud around you. His favorite pastime is laughing with you. Makes it a habit to make you laugh. Like San, he’ll want skinship, he’ll text and FaceTime you a lot. It would be like you’re already in a relationship.
He’ll annoy you too. It’s how he shows affection. Will constantly be over your shoulder and in your business 24/7. Your business is his business now, you’re one.
Likes to have you over the dorm so he can cook for you. Will pout and whine if you’re not paying attention to him and all the hard work he is doing for you. He’s extra and dramatic like that. Wants you in on all of his shenanigans.
Jongho-
He steals lots of glances, he doesn’t want you to catch him but he can’t help it. He likes the feeling he gets when he sees you. He’s never really felt like this so he really doesn’t know what to do.
Of course he loves showing off his strengths to you. He loves the moments when he can give you piggyback rides, he won’t ask if you want one because he’s too nervous but he won't ever deny you if you ask.
Smiles discreetly whenever you sit next to him. He’s such a gentleman around you, he makes sure he isn’t rough with you like he is with the boys. I can see him having some jealousy or worry when he sees someone smiling and talking to you.
