At my gym there is a jacked balding man in his 40s who works out in a polo shirt that is neatly tucked into a pair of belted khaki Dockers shorts, with white mid-calf socks rising above some brownish sneaker / hiking boot hybrid. I don't know why he chooses to pump iron while dressed in a way that seems more appropriate to playing badminton at a country club, but whether by choice or obliviousness I salute this man's non-conformity to existing social norms.
Well, you know, to say that he couldn’t harm somebody with what he did—he could, absolutely, he could. But to cast him out, to make him invalid in society simply because he has scissors for hands—I mean, that’s strange. People didn’t get scared until he started sculpting shrubs into dinosaur shapes and whatnot.

The absence of empathy is the root of all evil.
If you know a shamanistic fellow and they tell you to "have a heart," before taking offense consider that they might actually be offering you one.
Certain unanswered questions haunt me, like what does a Kenny G fan look like? Or who was responsible for the large box office of the fourth Transformers movie? Someone is listening to this music and seeing these films, but I’ve yet to meet anyone willing to claim responsibility. It’s like there’s this vast shadow population just waiting to endorse entertainment of dubious merit.
Of all the types of puzzles out there, how did jigsaw puzzles manage to be the kind that are referred to simply as puzzles, eschewing any additional descriptors?
Sure electric cars are good for the environment, but can we talk about how much harder it will be to asphyxiate yourself in the garage?
All phones are head phones, yet headphones aren’t phones.
Living with depression and anxiety is like running for political office, you spend all this time building yourself up and talking about everything you plan to accomplish and proceed to do approximately none of it.

Serial killing also makes a great answer to the tired old question "What do you do?" Most people will think you're hilarious, and the rest are likely to be fascinated and want to learn more. If your M.O. is people with a preexisting / budding interest in serial killers, so much the better.
Make no mistake, like anything, if you want to become an expert at serial killing you have to put in the time. There are no shortcuts, and anyone that tells you serial killing isn't a lot of work is lying. That said, the satisfaction you receive from each successive kill is extremely rewarding.
Many of us have an axe to grind, but there is a common misconception that serial killing is an expensive hobby. Today we'll show you how to get your feet wet without breaking the piggybank.
Is the word ducking really used enough in common parlance to be an autocorrect default? I struggle to imagine a world where people are in constant peril of having to go under or avoid being hit by something.
Hope is always among the most profitable of commodities.
