Yep, that’s uncomfortably close. he drags his tongue across the thin lines of blood, it’s not much, but it’s enough of a taste to please him. Just as quickly as it started, it’s over and he backs up.

"Thank you~"

He flashes his fangs, and otherwise dismisses what he did. What he does do however… is offer the boy one of his cookies as a thank you. By the smell, they’re spiced, a soft ginger bread, perhaps.

His face is burning, totally flushed from the weird contact with the other man and he gasps when he feels his tongue against his skin. At least it's over quick and he's surprised by how much the other's tone has changed. His arms rest at his sides, thankful they're now free even if he's still flustered and confused as hell as to what just happened.

Then he catches the fangs. "Wha-" Just as he is about to say something, he's offered a very delicious smelling cookie. He stares, completely helpless and just astonished as to how quickly surreal things have gotten now.

Of course he accepts it, albeit hesitantly, and just continues to stare at him with the cookie in his hand. "What...the hell..." His voice is a whisper, too shocked to raise his voice.

Well. That gets his attention. The scent of blood has him turn on his heel and then he finds the source. His lips quirk just slightly.

"Do you have allergies, boy? You have a little nose bleed…"

The cookies are discarded in favorite of something more pleasing, and he stalks closer.

"Be still, and I will fix it."

He doesn’t care, it’s been too long since he’s had a chance at fresh blood, bottled only goes so far to suppress the urge. Mismatched hands grip the boy’s upper arms, holding him there while he leans in. No amount of words was going to stop him from getting a taste, and despite his forcefulness, he doesn’t outright harm him.

Oh shit. He's back to being scary and he's caught his attention. He would've gotten the hell out of there if he knew a way out. Instead he slowly backs away, shaking more as the other man gets closer. "N-No I don't! I don't know where this came from!"

His voice was much louder than he intended and he jumps when he's grabbed, squirming in his grasp initially before forcing himself to settle down, partially from the other's words and partially out of fear. "Y-You don't have to do that." He whispers, knowing that that probably wasn't going to stop whatever he was about to do.

A cool guy. A cool guy. This young man said that he was a cool guy. What does that mean, again? He’s still completely unlearned in these modern ways, especially when it comes to slang, but hopefully “cool” meant “good?” It had to, yes? He looks shocked for a few moments before regaining himself.

"A-Ah, it’s very nice to meet you, Mr. Tatsumi. I-I thank you very much for the sentiment, ah… not a lot of young people tell me things like that. You are rather… cool, yourself.”

Young people? He doesn't look much older than him, but he's not gonna ask. Kanji doesn't catch that Jonathan is struggling with his compliment, but when he returns it does he light up. "Hey thanks! It ain't often I get to meet new people like this, I come from a pretty small town where everyone knows each other and we don't get visitors much."

Fortunately for him there’s practically nothing to be scared of. Other than the sheer amount of brazen fabulous-ness this man possesses. When he turns around it’s like one of those overdone hair care adverts. However a quick glance downward and Kanji would find… are those…

Yes.

Freshly baked cookies of the ~highest~ caliber. He doesn’t seem to have even noticed someone else’s presence.. he’s too preoccupied with his bakes.

Holy shit.

Kanji is too focused on the sheer beauty of the man and his hair before him to not even notice the steady streams of blood pouring out from his nose. It was just like one of his shoujo animes. At any moment he was expecting rose petals or cherry blossoms but instead he got something better, the aroma of cookies. Cookies he had baked himself it looks like.

Was this even real? Was this really happening? For a moment Kanji was sure he had stumbled onto something he wasn't supposed to see, like it was some vision his shadow dumped on him or something. But then it doesn't go away, and he finds himself fixed on the man who doesn't even seem to notice him.

Whoa, talk about a scary lookin' guy. Kanji's not sure how to handle all these dudes much larger than him. He's pretty sure if he tries to greet him, his voice will definitely crack.

Oh, sweet lord. This boy is precious. Quite possibly one of the most precious boys he’s ever seen in his life. Is this what kids are like these days? Why couldn’t there be more boys like this back when he was in school? Life is cruel. It’s cruel and unusual and he was born in the wrong generation.

Shaking his head, he tries not to look too surprised and gives another smile.

"Well, he seemed like a very nice boy, indeed. As do you, young man—ah, forgive me, allow me to introduce myself. Jonathan Joestar. And you?"

Well at least it doesn't look like he's gonna get made fun of, actually it seems like the opposite. He didn't expect to get that kind of reaction from him, hardly anyone is ever this polite towards him.

He smiles in relief, relaxing now that he doesn't feel so anxious. "Thank you sir- um, Mr. Joestar." He's trying to be formal with the guy, he's obviously older than him so it's the least he can do, right?

"I'm Kanji Tatsumi, and no sweat, no need to be apologizing. You seem like a pretty cool guy."

Oh! Someone else she hasn’t met before! There seems to be a lot of tall, kinda muscular boys running around lately, she notes.

"Hi! I don’t recognize that uniform—where you from?"

Well at least she isn't from his school, hopefully she won't hear the rumors about him. "Y...Yasogami High. I'm a first year there. Um, what's yours?"

The boy’s behavior reminds him of a certain grandson of his, but he won’t make the comparison. Not out loud, anyway. He gives a quiet chuckle—not a patronizing one, not by any means.

"Ah, nothing at all, really. I simply met the young man a while ago, myself—I was merely wondering. Is he a friend of yours, perhaps?"

There's a sparkle in Kanji's eyes as he meets the other's gaze and raises his hand into a fist, his tone completely serious and a bit excited.

"He sure is! He's one of my bestest buddies and I really look up to hi-" He stops himself, his face a little flushed when he realizes just how worked up he's gotten. He lowers his fist to touch his cheek nervously.

"I-I mean uh, yeah, he's a uh...a pretty great guy."

It seems as though he has someone looking at him—and he seems be about his age… and he has a school uniform on as well? Is he shy about approaching?

"Hello?"

"...Hey? Um, nice ladybugs." They're real cute, which he'd say aloud if he wasn't afraid to. "I take it you're not from around here- er, where I come from anyway." What a strange looking guy what with that hair and that outfit. He'd be the talk of the town.

He’s been running into quite a few students lately, hasn’t he? This one seems a lot shyer than the last one he ran into. Maintaining a polite smile, he bows his head slightly.

"I don’t suppose you go to the same school as, ah… Mister Seta, do you?"

That's not what he expected but at least the other guy doesn't seem to wanna take him out. This guy actually seems pretty nice? Kanji blinks in surprise but decides to keep his guard up just in case, "Huh? Yeah, I do. What of it?"

That definitely was not expected—but definitely something he was not complaining about at the moment. Someone actually familiar—and not just familiar, one of his friends, at that. There’s momentary shock, but he’s soon giving a nod and approaching.

"I’m alright—it’s really good to see you. Are you alright? Everything been good?"
