How long have you been drawing? The mandalas, specifically, and what is your process in drawing the mandalas?

Hey :) I've been drawing since I was a kid, but I've been drawing in this pattern/detailed style for about 4 years. I got into mandalas specifically about 1 year ago. Not quite sure how to describe my process well... but I can try :p I usually draw the outlines with a compass and sometimes I make grid in pencil to better place the details. I spend a long time trying to figure out which patterns to use. I often have to make sketches in pencil before using ink. Hope this helps :)
