Old pieces for Telltale Zine which unfortunately wasn’t released :(
The beautiful pieces for Telltale’s Batman and Tales from Monkey Island done for our zine (before it was unfortunately cancelled due to current events in the world) by the wonderful and lovely artist, Plutoniarts!
Plutonia is truly a treasure to work with, a wonderfully professional and talented artist. They specialize in matte painting and photo manipulation in order to create vivid and thought-provoking pieces that convey atmosphere and mood. Specializing in making art of space and apocalyptic settings, with a touch of the surreal, their body of work is definitely a treat for the eyes.
Follow them and check out their work on ArtStation and Twitter!

Also since unfortunately the zine is unable to go ahead due to current events, if you were planning on purchasing a copy, and would still like to give to the cause we were raising money for, we encourage you, if you are able, to donate to The Trevor Project, as they are a wonderful charity doing amazing work. You can donate here! #WeWillRememberThat
An Important Update.
Hey all, sorry for the months of silence. We all hope you’re all still safe and doing well! Unfortunately since our last update, the state of the world has not improved, and as such we are very disappointed and saddened to have to say that we have decided to cancel the zine.Â
On behalf of all of the mods, we feel terrible having to announce this and letting all our artists who have worked extremely hard, as well as all of you who have been waiting patiently down. Our decision comes with a very heavy heart, and as much disappointment and sadness as it does for you to hear this news. We had been planning this zine for over a year now, and to have it not go through really stings. This project started out as a group of three friends who had only met in the first place through their love of Telltale games, wanting to give back and pay a final tribute to a beloved part of their youth, and wanting to share that with fellow fans and artists. It was a passion project from fans for fans, it meant a lot to us, and we are greatly disappointed we could not bring this project to final fruition and deliver what we set out to do.Â
A large number of reasons have prevented us from doing so, and we feel we owe you a full explanation of those reasons. Obviously, Covid-19 and the state of the world has a huge part in it, since not only does the current pandemic cause issues with print times due to factories being shut down or being backlogged, but also shipping large quantities of items would be an issue for us, as handling any lost items in transit is a tremendous task during a global pandemic, especially with the already long delivery times, and the ever changing disruptions to postal service for different countries presenting another issue. And we just do not like overloading the postal services when they are currently being overloaded. Second, our graphic designer’s laptop unexpectedly died, and unfortunately lost all her programs to be able to work on the zine, so we sadly can’t do a digital zine as a back up now. Thirdly, we know a lot of people are in dire financial situations right now because of the ongoing pandemic, and we do not feel right asking people to purchase a zine from us, albeit for charity, but we’d rather you donate directly to a charity if you can afford to spare money right now. And it saddens us that some people that may have wanted to purchase the zine may not be able to now due to their current financial situation. The last reason was, that we felt it wasn’t the right time in the world to go ahead with the zine with the current climate of the world and the differing priorities on people’s minds. For that reason you could argue that it is no better time for a zine, and we would agree with you, and that is the biggest thing that disappoints us in having to cancel the zine, since we’re sure The Trevor Project could use donations in times like this, and we’re sure fans of Telltale games could use the pick-me-up. And it was for that reason we debated potentially pushing the zine back even further as a result, but we felt it was unfair to make everyone wait even longer since everyone has already been waiting so long, and there would be a loss of interest the longer people had to wait, and we just felt better not having people wait forever for something that we do not know when would be the earliest we could even possibly work on getting to everyone. So our decision came down to having to cancel the zine in the end. As disappointing as that is for everyone.
Since it is on us, the zine organizers/mods/curators, that the zine did not come to fruition, we decided to donate out of our own pockets to The Trevor Project to honour our commitment to them and their cause, and we hope you will add your own donation too, if you had planned on purchasing the zine and have the ability to donate right now.
You can donate to them here. (Also if you’r reading this on July 31st, 2020 if you donate before the end of today your donation will be doubled, so get on it if you feel like giving back today.)
In regards to our artists, we also compensated them their commission fees, for any that desired so, since we do not like artists working for free, especially in these times. We will also be reblogging their contributions to this blog to give them all the credit they deserve since they’re such bright rays in these trying times, so stay tuned for those, and to please support them and their work, as they are all extremely talented and are all a very delightful bunch!
We are sorry once again that it had to come to this, and wish we could’ve completed this project for you all, letting you all down disappoints us to no end. Thank you for your interest and supporting us up until now. We hope you all continue to stay safe and well!Â
With much love,
The We Will Remember That team. ❤
April Update
Hello everyone, sorry for the later than planned update about the zine. We all hope you’re safe and well, and doing your best in these times!Â
We’re sure all of you know about the current state of the world, and unfortunately we have to say that it has impacted our zine too, which is why the delay in updates, as we’re currently waiting to see how things play out, and how we will navigate the zine amidst all this chaos in the world. We didn’t want to give any updates about this too early or too late, which is why we’re posting this update now.Â
We’re still monitoring the situation as it unfolds, as we’re sure you all are, and how it impacts our printers and shipping options. We’ll give another update once it’s more certain and clear how things will play out. Until then, please stay safe and look after yourselves!
We know in times like these, it can be extremely difficult, and considering what we know a good chunk of you are probably in support of this zine for, please know that you’re not alone, and that there are resources available for you if you find these times extremely difficult. Below we’ll be leaving some hotline numbers to call, including the one we’re hoping to raise money to support with this zine, should you feel anxious or stressed in these times. Stay safe everyone! ♥
Applications are now closed.
Applications for the zine are now officially closed, thank you to everyone that applied.
We will be posting some big updates on the zine in the coming weeks. We’d also like to apologize for the slow down in updates, without going too much into it, there’s been some slow down with some of the printers we plan on working with due to some unforeseen circumstances, but nothing to stop us from bringing the zine to you. We hope you can all understand, and are as pumped as we are to bring this zine to you when it’s ready!
Final Call for Submissions!
Hey all,
We’re closing submissions real soon, so this is our final call for people to get their applications in before we close them for good.
Reminder we’re only looking for artists willing to draw any games that aren’t The Walking Dead. All funds raised from this zine, besides printing and shipping costs, will be going to The Trevor Project. All artists participating will receive a free copy of the zine as well as all packaged goodies that come with it.
In order to submit an application, please email [email protected] with the subject title “Application” and please include links to your social media profiles so we know where to find you, and your reasonings for wanting to join us.
We will make a final post when applications are officially closed, so you’ll know when they actually are.
Thank you to everyone that’s already applied, and if you’re unable to apply, we really appreciate if you can spread the word about this project.Â
Update on Applications
Hey all, just a quick update about applications. If you have sent us one since we opened applications in November, we got them!
We should be responding to your application within the next week or so to let you know if you were accepted onto the project, so if you don’t get a response by the end of the month, your application may not have gotten to us.Â
We will be making a final call post when we are very close to closing our applications to encourage any stragglers before closing applications for good, so get them in while you still can!
Hey guys, this isn’t zine related, but if you have the time, TFS can be nominated for the “Labor of Love” category for the Steam Awards this year, so go give a vote for the #StillNotBitten team. ♥
Call for Artists!
Hello everyone who has ever been a fan of Telltale Games! We are currently looking for artists to join our already very talented and wonderful team of artists in order raise money for the Trevor Project.
We are currently only looking for artists who want to draw: The Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands, Telltale’s Game of Thrones, and any other Telltale Games that are NOT The Walking Dead, however.
Experience working in print or with printed media is a bonus, but not required (our zine organizers will help you with this if need be). You must be willing to commit to the project, no backing out last minute, and keep up responsibilities and communication with the team as the project goes on.Â
All artists will receive a free copy of the zine, along with any other packaged merch we’ll be offering for their participation in the zine.Â
Anyone is welcome to apply, but please note that applying does not mean you will be on the zine for sure, as we will be going through applications and inviting on artists we think are qualified for the vision of the zine onto the project, and if you are not accepted onto the zine, that is not a reflection of you being a bad artist or us thinking you are terrible or anything, since we all have room to grow, or sometimes certain types of work are not best suited for certain things. We only want to ensure that the zine has a consistent theme and all artwork will be of good quality for print.
In order to apply, please send us an email to [email protected] with the subject titled “Application” and send us a link to a portfolio of your work and/or your social media profiles, so we know where to find you, and tell us a little bit about why you’d like to join us too if you’d like.
If you are not an artist, or are unable to participate in the zine, but would like to support us still, please spread the word: reblog this post or share this on other social media, maybe tell your own artist friends to apply, or even suggest to your fave artists that they should apply! Every bit helps a great deal and we are very thankful for the support.
Applications will be open until sometime in December, where we will make an announcement when they close, so send them in as soon as you can!

November Updates!
Hey all, sorry for the long silence, it’s been a busy few months for us. Good news though, we’re here with some updates!
First off, we’ll be announcing our artists via artist spotlights very soon, where we’ll give you some samples of our artists’ work along with a description of what type of work they do and what you can expect out of them, so please check them out and give them your support when you see them!Â
Second, unfortunately for both ends, a few of our artists had to leave due to school and/or work, so we are currently looking for some new artists to join the team, so if you’re interested in joining us and would like to draw TWAU, TFTBL, TTGOT, or any other Telltale games (not TWDG though since we’re set on artists there), we’ll be posting details on how to apply in the next few days, so please look out for that.
Thank you for your patience, and we can’t wait to show you what we have coming up!
An Update!
Hey guys, hope your day’s been well! We’re sure it has been because of the news that dropped today, so we wanted to update you all on our plans for the zine going forward in light of today’s news of the revival of Telltale Games.Â
Our zine will still be happening, only it will be more of a tribute to what was the former Telltale, before its closure and revival, as we obviously transition towards the new future of the franchises (minus TWDG, as that is now the property of Skybound) and the new Telltale Games. We want to still say our thanks to the folks that made these games happen, and that they will have our support in their new home of the new Telltale, or wherever life has taken them. That was and is one of the most important reasons we started this zine, and we plan on seeing it through.
As such, some of our concepts will be changing: our new concepts for any of the games that will be a part of the new Telltale will revolve around what we as fans would like to see in the new Telltale and what cool stuff we think our fave protagonists would get up to with this new chapter, as well as some tributes to the games and our love of them. The concept still remains the same however for our TWDG focused art, as the story wrapped up and it will no longer be a part of the lineup at Telltale, so we’d like to say our farewells to Clementine and AJ, and pay tribute to the legacy they left behind, and the many possibilities of the future that lies ahead of them.
However, because of the shift in concepts, a lot of our artists have to rework their ideas and artwork, and as you all know, art isn’t something you can make appear with the magic click of a button, so we hope you will all understand that our zine will be coming out a little later than we anticipated, and that you will still support us in this project.Â
If this entire series of events has taught us anything, there’s always something bright in the future awaiting you, so keep your chin up!
Hello, everyone! Still upset and letting it settle in that TWDG is over? Especially now on the one year anniversary of The Final Season’s release? Or still sad about and miss your faves from other Telltale Games? Well, what if we told you it wasn’t over yet... For us the fans, and now it’s time for us to give something back!Â
Announcing... We Will Remember That, a charity fanzine by fans for fans! A zine that will take us back as well as give back, as many artists from the fandom over the years come together to give one final farewell, and say thank you to all our favourite Telltale protagonists and the people who made it happen. Our concept is to create a book filled with art that pays tribute to the legacy of these games and their stories, as well as imagine what type of ending or future they’d have if they’d continue on.
All proceeds will be donated to The Trevor Project to honour the Telltale team’s dedication to diversity in their games, as well as the youth who made their final game such a memorable experience, and to say no matter what adversity in life, you will still carry on and survive this. There are still great things to come and a brighter tomorrow.
Check out our page for more information, and to keep an eye out for updates! We hope you’ll support us! Until then, remember to keep that hair short, and we’ll see you around... wolf.
(Lovely artwork by the very talented @hibci, please do yourself a favour check out more of their work!)
