Solar Sister, Tanzania
Project Brief: Solar Sister is in the preliminary stages of launching a pilot program in Tanzania, where it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) for an implementation partnership. The goal of this partnership is to support the launch of the Solar Sister pilot program in Tanzania, integrating Solar Sister’s enterprise model with AWF’s conservation efforts in the country. The TEMLab team will lay the groundwork for launching Solar Sister’s Tanzania pilot program.

About TEMLab: The Thunderbird Emerging Markets Laboratory (TEM Lab) is a six-week, full-time class guided by Thunderbird faculty. Teams of Thunderbird student consultants work with clients on-location to solve a specific business problem. During the engagement, consulting teams deliver on objectives defined in a contract between themselves and the client. Teams are also responsible for the academic expectations of Thunderbird.
