I woke up today CRAVING Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, so instead of going out and buying a package and demolishing them in seconds I decided instead to take my MB3 Nature’s Chemistry Nut Butter bar and craft myself a healthier version of my favorite candy. *This recipe is SUPER easy mode*

First I took my Nature’s Chemistry Nut Butter bar and cut it into bite size pieces.

Then I took some 70% dark chocolate and melted it in the microwave at 30 second intervals.

Then I took a fork and dipped the bar into the chocolate and placed the coated pieces on a plate.

Lastly, I controlled my impulse to shove all of the chocolate covered pieces into my mouth and let the chocolate harden in the fridge for 10 minutes.

and TA-DA! A great alternative to the 232 calories (124 calories from fat), 14g of fat (5g of saturated fat), 21g of sugar and only 5g of protein that come in a 2 pack of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. The Nut Butter bar has 210 calories (90 calories from fat), 10g of fat (1.5g of saturated fat), 7g of sugar and 17g of protein not to mention that it is made from all natural ingredients like organic almonds, walnuts, cashews and organic clover honey.

This weekend I had to take a very last minute trip across the country, lucky for me I had these 3 amazing MB3 Nature’s Chemistry protein bars in my bag for my long days of travel. It was about 3 hours into my 6 hour flight when my stomach started growling louder than I’ve ever heard it before, I grabbed the Cocoa Goji Berry bar out of my bag to silence my stomach before either of my seat mates could start giving me weird looks.

This is the best protein bar I have ever eaten! There is no doubt that it is organic when you take your first bite and you can see whole goji berries, almonds and walnuts inside. It’s hard to believe when you’re eating this bar that it is so healthy for you because it is so delicious and perfectly sweet and chocolatey. This protein bar has 15g of natural protein and 15g of fiber both of which are perfect for stopping that noisy hunger from coming back. This bar so do deliciously satisfying that I forgot that I was doing good for my body and putting gluten free, natural, healthy ingredients into it for a second. After eating this bar you feel a little bit naughty for eating something so yummy but you shouldn't because it is great for you and only 190 calories per bar!
