See, fuck SJM for romanticizing Nesta's trauma to the point that so many Nesta stans think she's just some cool party girl boss bitch who "puts people in their place" when in reality she was a depressed, self loathing, suicidal, miserable person who abused everyone around her bc (apparently) her trauma just made her that way

Nesta deserves better stans than the ones who are like "hehe, I'm spiraling just like Nesta was! She's soooo relatable!" like do you not see how insanely unhealthy that is? Did you miss the part of her book where she hated herself for the way she hurt other people and the way she acted?

It's 2024, go to therapy or something. There are unlimited ways to get help at your fingertips. Being miserable and hateful and wanting to die isn't cute, it isn't quirky. Good for you for finding a character you relate to but maybe you should want to relate to them when they're like, idk, healed and kind instead of constantly rampaging and spiraling?
