Is it evil to recommend a friend revolutionary girl utena the show, because they were looking for a Yuri… if you want to be an outstanding citizen and not hurt someone recommend them movie for the happy ending but I find the show really well done just more in the lines of doomed Yuri.

Tbh I love how this show plays with the idea of gender roles/social construct by putting prince and princesses as a job role and not something they are born into.. If we stay with the ideas that you need a prince to save/ fight for you in order for them to win you, then we become a prize or a feat. The utter destruction I felt when all along you are rooting for Utena and becoming the best prince there is because she was fighting to free Anthi but then not being enough really broke me in the end

No spoilers!!! The whole feel of the movie feels like you’re watching it from your grandmothers hidden VHS tapes. The ambient sounds give just the right atmosphere, there’s a point in this movie after the climax that you feel disoriented, and the yellow lights and walls make you nauseous.. some people critiqued this movie for having no motive but I felt like it was the opposite; everyone is intrigued by going all in to this new world or your own thoughts until you hit the place that makes you feel safe or the wall/ room you can’t get past. It’s the cycle that keeps going over and over the same thought same place/memory that you obsess over until it makes sense to your reality. You can’t leave until it’s, “resolved.” Where the memory you have becomes role play or fantasy. you fight for your reality, and the comfort of your truth until it’s just another distorted reality.. you leave with more questions than opinions of the movie, personally i just kept thinking how much this other world keeps expanding. If you plan to do a double feature of Backrooms and Obsession, please give yourself like a good 30 minute break to not go insane or get sick

One second you are watching Whams music video of “wake me up before you go-go” and everything’s fine, you then start feeling something rise from your legs to your head and you blank out… after a “second” you hear in the distance an echo from your mom calling out to you. You wake up nauseous/disoriented with a headache and the first thing you see is George Michael’s pepped up swinging and snapping with just a smile on his face and it feels like you just saw American Jesus personally waking you up…. This happened a few weeks ago but I just remember how happy I was to see him after waking up it was stupid but pls share any stories that are similar or any at all I can’t sleep:”))

AGGHH lately I’ve been so stressed with my computer, I’ve been trying to work on my lil sims series for months and I’ve finally written out what I wanted to do with the story and the characters laid out but storage was a problem because I couldn’t run my game. So my lovely amazing partner bought me a 2t external hard drive, and once I figured out how to get it to work and get my game to download through there… my EA account asks me to verify an old email I don’t have access to anymore. Which was a very glass breaking moment because of all the memories and saved file and all of the extra stuff I bought basically went down the toilet teehee and reaching out to costumer support didn’t do anything. So I decided to open a new account and bought half the expansions/dlc/ game packs I used to have. At that point I was pretty much over it cause I couldn’t do much more about that, so I went and filled the void with mods/cc but after I tried to open my game none of it show up! Wow so awesome!🙃🥳

So after that I kinda gave up on even playing the game until I solved that issue. To be honest I’m not an expert on solving anything but I will try to solve my computer problems on my own with the help of YouTube so I spent weeks trying to solve the mod problem and when I finally figured out how to make my mods run through my hard drive a demon lord fucks with me again. So that night while I was sleeping, my laptop charger melted and burned while I fell asleep!😚no wonder I smelt burnt plastic, but I really thought it was my dream and that it was just so vivid, my senses were awakened.. Anyways, while I save money to buy a new charger I’m just gonna keep working on the story and taking my sweet time with it, or maybe do something else if that’s what the universe wants me to do. Sorry for the long rant, but I just had to get it out my brain. I might do character polls and introduction to characters and might ask you guys to vote for adventures the party will go through to make it a lil bit interactive.
