╠♫╣一”Would you assume that whenever anyone else said the same thing?” the Centurion inquired, amusement in his tone. “It is a human saying, after all.” Ah, fun little quips and tidbits that he’s learned in the years of just observing.

╠♫╣一A chuckle would leave him at the directness of further elaboration, one in which he may as well enlighten. “Well, I and seven others are all summon servants to a great summon spirit named Lord Ratatosk, and we’re all in charge of elements and the monsters (of my world, mind you) that uses said elements. As you may surmise from my dark coloration, I’m the Centurion of Darkness. You could also have guessed that from my name, which, by the by, is Tenebrae.”

╠♫╣一Clearly he was at ease of revealing at least these base facts about himself, idly floating up a bit enough that his paws were no longer touching the ground. “Now that my introduction and a small summary of my origins is complete, what is your name?”

╠♫╣一”Oh gracious! First a dog, then a cat! I’m being mistaken for many a things I’m not.” However, as insulted as the words made him seem to be, the creature couldn’t quite hide the amusement in his tone. Or perhaps he could and chose not to.

╠♫╣一A short laugh would suddenly escape him, drawing his tail forward and splaying the hand appendage at the end as though he was offering the explanation physically, palm up. ”No no, I’m not any ordinary feline. Though I’d scarcely believe you’ve seen anything like me-- what you see before you is a Centurion.”
