Hull number 736 is nearing her launch date. Known as Q4, this new ship has all of the Cunard line riding on her. If she is successful, the age old line will continue. If Q4 fails, the Cunard Line will most likely cease to exist. On September 20, 1967. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will name this ship, Queen Elizabeth 2. Qe2 as she is known. Would go on to save the Cunard Line and the ocean liner from extinction and carry that legacy into the new millennium. God bless the Queen!

A 10 Metre class racing yacht
designed by Johan Anker: IRENE VIII.
A product of the pre-war
era of engineering competition.
One of the few surviving yachts
built under the metre rule.
Recognised by France as part of its maritime heritage.
Following an extensive restoration, she was relaunched on 17 July 2024 and has returned to active racing on the classic regatta circuit.
Today, IRENE VIII stands as both
a historical object and a measured, certified performance yacht.
