Mun does not ship MirSan, so please don’t send me asks about Miroku. Hate the ship with passion, but not Miroku himself. I ship Sango primarily with Sesshomaru, and Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho. So, keep that in mind when asking questions.

Kin'u and Gyokuto I will accept as long as the father isn't Miroku, Hisui...He's a good kid but I'm sorry, he looks too much like Miroku so he can keep Hisui. Again, not hating Miroku, just the ship. Sango deserved better for her end.

"The meaning of TAROT is any of a set of usually 78 playing cards including 22 pictorial cards used for fortune-telling."

What is this project?

Over the course of a year, we will create a deck of 78s Yu Yu Hakusho themed tarot cards. Each artist chooses as many cards as they'd like to create. At the end, if the project succeeds, we will look to print the cards and make them into an actual deck you can purchase!

The project is still ongoing and sign ups are still open to those who would like to participate! Details are in the sign up form and any questions can be directed to this blog's ask box.

Rules regarding the project.

1. Cards must contain only characters from the Yu Yu Hakusho universe, meaning manga, anime, movies, video games, or any other supplementary materials. No OCs or cross-overs are allowed as this is a YYH deck only. 2. Characters can repeat but we encourage you to branch out into minor characters as much as possible! 3. Art can be created in any medium you choose, can be digital or traditional. If your art piece is traditional, please be sure you have access to a scanner and that you can take good scans of your work. Photos of the artwork will not suffice. 4. Artwork must be original and not reused from old works. Use of references is encouraged but please be mindful of not tracing or copying any part of your artwork. 5. You MUST BE 18+ to join the project. 6. You must have discord to join the project.

Timeline

Cards are claimed in intervals of 10 or so, about every other month. During each claim, every artist has the chance to sign up to draw up to 2 cards total at a time. Claims open up on the first of a new month. The 14th is the first check in, during which an idea must be presented. The next check in is two weeks later, when a sketch is necessary. The third check in is 2 weeks after that, showing progress on the card(s). The deadlines are always 3 months after the last check in, with the ability to extend the deadline an additional 3 months further before the card is surrendered.

In order to sign up, you must use the above linked form and await our approval.

*If you are not approved, you can try to resubmit your application again, waiting at least 3 months. We can reconsider your application.

Once approved, you will be contacted via the contact information you provided and given a link to our Discord server where the project is being organized. Please be watchful for that message! It can take us anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks to get back to you.

You can check the status of your application at any time by DMing this account or @yyh-revival or DMing lola1b on Discord.

Strange clothes with even stranger fabrics, the way he spoke…it was bringing Sango a wave of nostalgia, god almighty she missed Kagome. Would she have understood her predicament with Miroku, or taken his side? Either way, it was becoming more and more apparent that he wasn’t from this time period, also in the way he looked at her in return. Most had seen demon slayers before (though, it seemed this young woman he’d saved hadn’t seen one before either. Whether it be because demons had somehow looked over this region until now and there had been no need to hire her people, or people had already forgotten what demon slayer armor looked like), so his reaction was telling.

But it was clear the boy was good, in the way he protected the maiden even from Sango.

“Well, to start…where do you hail from, how did you get here, and what year do you think it is?” Sango had a strong feeling that like Kagome, he was from the distant future. Only the jewel fragments could allow the priestess to travel through the Bone Eater’s Well (and now that it was gone, the well no longer allowed Kagome or Inuyasha to pass), and Inuyasha was able to pass through due to being bound to the Tree of Ages for fifty years. If there was another way to travel through time she didn’t know about…

Wait what?! He understood the two questions, where he came from , how he got here but what YEAR he think this is? That’s a little too specific even from someone he has suspicions of being an enemy..but the longer they stood there the more he could see that she probably isn’t the enemy he suspects her to be. Being a kind of ruffian himself he’d 𝙆𝙉𝙊𝙒 when someone is dishonest or meant harm, this woman seemed the opposite and that more and more.

━━ ❝ 𝐈-..𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭? ❞ Even with the amount of seconds passing Yusuke still couldn’t wrap his mind around the last question, and though fearful the woman behind him was equally confused about the ‘year’. “There aren’t a lot of people that’d ask me that but I get the feelin’ you’re gonna tell me it’s not the year 1999.” Said Yusuke.

The woman he was protecting was shocked at his answer ‘1999?’ did he not mean The Sengoku Era? (estimate guess to when this all took place).

“As for where I come from, that’d be Yokohama..as for how I got t’ here in the first place..well let’s say ya wouldn’t believe me if I told ya..Kunoichi.” Yusuke finally was able lower his defenses, he displays this in good faith by setting his hands into the pockets of his jackets. “It’s okay Lady, I don’t think she’s here t’ hurt us.Think she’d pull that huge weapon off her back and had done it already, isn’t that right?” Said Yusuke.

“Thank goodness, but now that I’m not as startled…your clothing seems familiar..somewhat similar to the stories our elders tell the children in our village.” Said the woman regarding Sango’s own outfit. Their little village had been secluded from Naraku’s evil grip, secretly protected a rather old but dying spell placed by a dying Miko.

The confusion was understandable, but it still surprised Sango he hadn’t noticed any of the familiar hallmarks of his own time were absent from their surroundings. Plus, the woman that he’d rescued—she was hardly dressed like him, or Kagome were she here right now. Either way, the confirmation was received;

This young man was from the same century and decade as Kagome, and from the maps from the future Kagome had shown her…he wasn’t close enough to have been drawn in by the well…unless there was another one in this ‘Yokohama’, she couldn’t see how the boy could have gotten here.

“Unfortunately, you’d be correct. This isn’t 1999, not even remotely close,” she confirmed, waiting for him to speak again before answering his own questions. “Yes, I have no intention of harming you. My job is to protect people like her, not to harm them,” another confirmation, another pause.

“Oh, I’d believe you. You’re not the first person I’ve met who’s traveled back in time; about two years ago, I traveled with a girl who came from the year 1997. She was from Tokyo, and traveled back and forth through a dry well.” Sango was not enjoying being called a ‘kunoichi’, especially considering the woman had some faint memory of her people. Turning her gaze to the woman, she nodded.

“That’s right, my people slew demons for generations. Our services could be requested and paid for…however, there are but two of us now…” she then turned back to Yusuke, doing her best not to get too huffy. To keep her expression neutral.

“I’m a taijiya, not a kunoichi. There is a difference.”

Koga would circle around her, leering a little, as his mouth turned upward in a grin and he did a backflip before landing directly in front of her, his tail wagging--he's a dumb wolf.

"Did i stick the landing?" He asked with still the fanged smile. // koga @cpirits ((I literally forgot about this blog but koga is awake lol))

Sango blinked in surprise at Koga’s theatrics, not sure what to make of what she was seeing. Of course, she’d seen what Koga was like trying to woo Kagome, and the ensuing dogfight over the poor girl’s affections…but Kagome wasn’t here right now, just the two of them and Kirara. So the taijiya had to wonder what was going through the wolf’s mind the leering was a clue Sango was still trying to register. “Yes, you most certainly did!” Sango praised, clapping to show her enthusiasm as confused as she still was.

“Quite the performance, Koga!”

It was times like this, that she wished her best friend, her sister was still alive. Mae, while having no apparent interest in men, was exceedingly good at decoding their actions and coming up with a proper response.

The woman made her presence known, the way she was dressed..definitely something he’s seen in a video game..like a kunoichi or something..and was that a gigantic boomerang on her back!? That’s something..he’s never seen before in a game..that’s for sure but what surprised Yusuke more is that the woman said she had a few things to ask him if he’d LET her, if it meant getting answers then sure Yusuke would play the part given to him.

“Ahhhh..” The sound of a woman screaming echoes across an empty field. Unfortunately enough for her there wasn’t another person for miles. Or was there? Despair sank in the bottom of her stomach as the large demon swung its mighty spiked club towards the woman. She prepared for pain, she prepared for death…but nothing happened. “Close one huh?” There was a voice instead, she opened her eyes to look up, witnessing a boy in rather STRANGE clothing holding the club with his bare hand. The larger demon that stood rather tall seemed to be struggling when trying to retrieve his club.

“Huh, back where I come from you wouldn’t even be enough t’ be an opening act.” The mysterious boy spoke out. The demon was dumbfounded. “B-but h-how?! You’re just a human..wait..you’re also a-” He tried to confirm that Yusuke was indeed half demon but before that knowledge was imparted publicly Yusuke already shot the beast through the heart with a spirit gun, using less spiritual energy to create a simple small bullet that did him away. “Are you okay lady?” Yusuke spoke as the demon’s corpse makes a thud against the grass the moment it fell.

“Y-yes I am..thank you very much for your help.” The woman spoke out as Yusuke could sense..or rather he smelled a human nearby. Curse this mazoku blood..there was still some getting used to these new sensations. “Though, don’t think we’re outta the woods yet lady, stay behind me.” Yusuke spoke as he faced this new ‘threat’.

Sango had recently learned of strong demonic activity in the area, and was further prompted to go looking for the rampaging demons by the fact that she and Kohaku had gotten a job to slay them from a village they’d stopped in. They’d been on the move for about a year now, trying to avoid Miroku after she’d changed her mind about marrying him the night before they were to be married. Honestly, it was kind of refreshing to be traveling with solely Kohaku. To be able to bond with him one on one, and spend time completing his training and making up for the time they’d lost—!

The elder demon slayer was broken from her thoughts by a curious presence, blinking. ‘That’s not…but who…?’

“Kirara, I want you to land here.” Sango instructed, having her companion bring Kohaku and herself down, a fair distance from the weird presence. She wasn’t quite liking the feel of this presence, not because it felt hostile…but it didn’t exactly feel like a warm hug either.

“Kohaku, you and Kirara stay here and don’t come unless I call. Something about this is odd…I sense a presence like Inuyasha’s, but it’s not his…” and with some minor back and forth on the matter, the boy and nekomata stayed behind. It took about fifteen minutes of walking, but soon she broke through the trees, Hiraikotsu already off her back and ready to throw. There was a boy across the way, and a human woman…along with the corpse of an ogre.

“You there; I’d like to ask you a few questions, if you’ll permit me…” if he was good, which it seemed he was from the fact he’d saved a human life, Sango didn’t want the poor bastard getting run off because of his apparent half demon status. He definitely had Inuyasha’s bearing…

I decided to give GoFundMe another go after deleting my last fundraiser out of embarrassment. Please contribute to this if you can and/or share if you see this.

I wish to remain anonymous for this fundraiser for personal reasons but me and my family have been without a home for almost three years and have been living out of our car since September of 2021.

Despite our best efforts, our chances of finding a home again have been difficult especially since I lost my job which was one of our main sources of income. I normally have to operate on commissions in public spaces which explains the photo above.

This fundraiser is to put towards food, hotels, and other necessities like acquiring new clothes and any repairs our car might need.
