HPHM- MC Presentation: Tenshi Lightwood

Hi ! After several weeks of work, I FINALLY finished the presentation of my HPHM main character. I admit that I was a little apprehensive but I'm finally getting started. 😊

English is not my mother tongue, the presentation is originally in French but I tried to translate as well as possible so it's not perfect. If I made any language mistakes, don't hesitate to tell me, I will correct myself ❤️

Name: Tenshi Lightwood

Nationality: French/ English (with American origins from her paternal grandmother)

Having parents of both nationalities, she speaks both languages fluently. Having grown up in France, she has a less marked English accent than her father (who is native). When she gets angry, it disappears completely and it’s her French accent that takes over.

Hair: very long, dark blonde with gold reflects. Upon entering Hogwarts, they are short and a bit messy. Over time they will become smoother and longer.

With her small stature, baby face and pale skin, she is often compared to a doll by her peers.

-The words « Blood Traitor » were engraved on her left collarbone by Death Eaters.

-She has long, thin scars on her forearms and a small one under her right eye that were inflicted by a curse.

-She has scars on her left knee from an injury during the Battle of Hogwarts.

Clothes style: Cute and elegant.

Top: She often wears blouses, sweaters, cardigans, blazers and long coats.

-Her brother’s signet ring (which she wears on her left thumb). It’s a black family ring, ruby-encrusted their father passed on to Jacob, but he left it behind him before disappearing. The name « Lightwood » is engraved on the inside. This ring is the only things she has left of Jacob, which is why she wears it constantly. She would be devastated if she were to lose it.

-Her mother’s necklace, in gold with a ruby pendant.

Post-Hogwarts: Her style asserts itself and becomes more provocative while remaining the Auror’s style. She wears long coat cinched (often trench coats), deliberately unbuttoned Victorian blouses, leathers corsets, high-waisted tight pants (often black), and high-heeled thigh-high boots.

-She likes to play piano and sing very much. Jacob often accompanied her on the guitar to sing along with her. This common passion for music comes from their paternal grandparents who also loved it, especially their grandmother Addison. When Tenshi and Jacob were children, they often went with their parents on vacation to their grandparents in the USA and their grandmother sang them lots of children’s song. She doesn’t have an amazing voice but she doesn’t care, she’s having fun and that’s all that matters.

-Eat (she only thinks about eating ALL the time) especially candies, chocolate and cakes (and to be honest, anything that contains sugar). Her favorite treats are chocoballs and cauldron cakes.

Patronus:

Memory: the moments when she sang with her brother who played the guitar.

However, when the problems with R grow and Jacob gets involved, this memory will no longer work. She will not be able to produce patronus for a while. The memory that will awaken her patronus again will be her first kiss. At that point, her patronus will change shape.

Boggarts: Jacob, bearing the Dark Mark on his arm, sits on a stool and slowly plays « Go tell Aunt Rhody » with his guitar out of tune. Her friends corpses are lying on the ground, at her brother’s feet.

Riddikulus: Her brother is standing on the wobbly stool singing silly songs at the top of his lungs. Her friends are standing laughing and throwing confetti at him. It’s raining chocolate frogs.

→ Her boggart reflects her deep fear that her brother has actually gone mad because of the Cursed Vaults (=his madness is represented by his out of tune guitar and scary way of singing) and that he has truly joined Voldemort (= the Dark Mark on his left forearm). « Go tell Aunt Rhody » was one of the songs their grandmother Addison sang to them when they were children, even as they grew older, they continued to sing it together jokingly.

The boggart also show her fear that her friends will be hurt, or worse, die because of her relentless search to find her brother.

Amortentia:

What she smells: candies, chocolate, coffee, book pages and (she doesn’t know why) sandalwood.

What she smells like (to the others) : peach, raspberry, rose and vanilla. Her smell is fruity and sugary.

Erised Mirror: She sees herself partying surrounded by her friends and family finally reunited and happy. All of her family and curse issues are far behind her. She enjoys her years at Hogwarts like any normal teenage girl.

Quidditch: Seeker. With her small stature and her agility, she’s very talented. Don’t be fooled by her appearance: for the golden snitch, she fights like a lioness (hence her nickname 😏).

Favorite classes

Defence Against Dark Arts: it’s by far her favorite subject. She’s passionate about ALL subjects studied in this class and excels both in theory and in practice. Her passion for this class will make her want to become an Auror.

Care of magical creatures: she adores all kinds of magical creatures and loves studying them in all their aspects.

Potions: even though Snape keeps putting her down, she really enjoys this class and finds it very interesting, especially in practice. Much to Snape’s chagrin she’s pretty good.

Least favorite classes

Astronomy: She doesn’t particularly like it. (What an idea to do class at midnight 🙄)

History of magic: she finds it boooring, she sleeps every class. However, she manages to have decent results thanks to Rowan.

Divination: She finds this subject absurd. According to her, divination is a gift, not something that can be learned. But even though she finds it completely fake, she still enjoys attending this class because she spends her time laughing with Charlie at the wacky prophecies Trelawney gives. She still manages to get good grades because she understood that it was enough just to play along.

Some facts about her and the Lightwood family

(I will complete progressively)

-Tenshi was born in France and stayed there for part of her childhood. Her parent decided to return to England for Jacob to enter Hogwarts.

-Her mother came from a noble French family of pureblood wizards. Her father is from the Lightwood clan, a very old wizarding family.

-Lightwoods are part of the wizarding families considered as « blood traitors » by the fundamentalists purebloods because they openly reject the doctrine of blood purity. Indeed, Tenshi’s parents treat muggles as an equal and are very interested in their way of life, especially her mother who often tried to live like them. Tenshi and Jacob knew some devices like TV or walkman. Tenshi and her mother love muggle’s fashion.

-Lightwoods are an ancestral family of wizard nicknamed « Light Bearer ». Many descendants from this family have the particularity of having gold eyes. There are many legends about them, some say that wizards from this family could have extraordinary powers, but none has been proven.

The only strange thing that is found in descendants is this aura of light and warmth that they give off and that attracts people.The descendants are also Legilimens.

-Her parents own several residences in England, France and USA. Their primary residence is the manor in Wiltshire. They also have a loft in London, another manor in France (where Tenshi and Jacob grew up) and a property in Texas.

-The disappearance of her brother deeply affected her family. While he was missing, her parents were devastated and a shadow of themselves.

-When she entered Hogwarts, Tenshi was very apprehensive about other people's look. She already had a reputation even before she started her studies. Jacob’s disapearance and the many rumors about him have tarnished her family’s name. At the age of 11, her goal was to restore her family’s honor and prevent anyone from devaluing her. She then built herself an image of a strong and arrogant girl. People whispered as she walked by, said she was weird and would end up like her brother: mad.

But the support of the friends she made during her first two years made her abandon this facade that she gave herself and progressively, she opened up and showed herself as she really was. A sociable, warm and kind girl who just want to make friends and find her big brother. She ended up gaining popularity (in a good way this time), and found friends to rely on.

-Tenshi will come close to death twice in her life: the first time during one of her missions as an Auror (she was hit by a curse on her forearms, which slashed her veins and make her bleed out). The second time during the Battle of Hogwarts (she almost died of suffocation under rubble after an explosion).

Nevra: an all-black outfit with tight top and pants, blazer jacket and Dr Martens shoes.

Short Bio: Rosie grew up in a very affluent and rich family, with her mother, Belladonna Mayfield, being one of the greatest potioneers and business women in the wizarding world, creating and running Mayfield Potions. Growing up in the beautiful and scenic Paris gave Rosie their love of art and most importantly, Fashion. Seeing and reading her mother’s magazines, flipping through them and admiring the folding fabrics and stitch details of the outfits spread on each and every page, Rosie fell in love on sight. Jacob’s Ladder helped fuel Rosie’s love for this, getting her their first sketchbook right before 5th year for Jacob’s Ladder.

After Jacob’s Ladder’s disappearance, Belladonna locked herself into her work and made Rosie feel isolated and lonely. So when Rosie befriended Rowan so quickly in Diagon Alley, Rosie truly felt like she wasn’t alone anymore. And could take on anything, even the Cursed Vaults at Hogwarts.

Greatest Strength: Rosie’s kindness. Rosie, though can be selective with it, shows kindness to basically anyone. They were taught even at an early age to offer a hand to anyone who needed it. Rosie is often seen helping younger students with their coursework or even with everyday things, like romance advice or how to defend oneself. Rosie will almost always has their signature warm smile when helping someone out

Physique: Rosie, though looking a bit skinny, is actually quite lean, especially their legs from Ballet, Ice skating, and Fencing. Rosie also has a bit of curves, having violin hip dips on the lower half of their body. Their arms are quite strong too, from carrying textbooks around to lifting heavy bags of fertilizer and dirt over their shoulders with ease, even transporting heavy fabrics and dress forms

Style Choice (what they like to wear): Rosie, as the resident ‘Fashion Monarch’, will wear and can wear every single style of fashion. From Mature and Romantic to Sweet and Cute, Rosie loves all styles. They do have their fav pieces though, particularly favoring mini skirts, crop tops, bell bottoms, high heeled shoes, blouses, and fashion jackets and blazers

Scars: A big scar that goes from the bottom of Rosie’s right brown bone to the middle of her cheek, where now an empty eye socket is, thanks to Rakepick. Another scar on the same part of her face is a jagged but small scar, going straight through Rosie’s eyebrow, an injury due to a fight with the Ice Knight. Two scars on the left side of Rosie’s neck is when they had to fight off Chiara in her werewolf form. Multiple scars are littered on both of Rosie’s arms, from fighting Acromantula’s, Dragons, and Rakepick. The only injuries not caused by fighting are the scars on Rosie’s hands, due to accidents involving Potion making, Gardening, or Sewing

Wand Description/Picture:

1st wand:

Pear wood wand, Dragon Heartstring core (Swedish Short-Snout), 9 inches in length, pretty flexible flexibility

This golden-toned wood produces wands of splendid magical powers, which give of their best in the hands of the warm-hearted, the generous and the wise. Possessors of pear wands are, in my experience, usually popular and well-respected.

As a rule, dragon heartstrings produce wands with the most power, and which are capable of the most flamboyant spells. Dragon wands tend to learn more quickly than other types. While they can change allegiance if won from their original master, they always bond strongly with the current owner. The dragon wand tends to be easiest to turn to the Dark Arts, though it will not incline that way of its own accord. It is also the most prone of the three cores to accidents, being somewhat temperamental.

The most flashy of the dragon heartstring wands, this wand specializes in areas to do with aesthetics or special effects. This heartstring selects those with great imagination and some sort of artistic or creative talents. There is a high preference for introverts– the highest among the dragon heartstrings. Many self-proclaimed hermits have had Swedish Short-Snout as their wand’s core. Independence and freedom are vital words for these people– as such, teamwork ill suits them. Though these people are pacifists at heart, and do whatever they can to avoid confrontation, this does not mean they cannot fight. A little pessimistic, they prepare for the worst and have the magic to back them up in a fight. Sometimes these witches and wizards need a reality check, as they can become self-absorbed or simply blind to how other people don’t perceive the world through the same lens that they do. Vanity and a superiority complex can be an issue as well if not curbed in their youth.

2nd Wand:

Ash wood wand, Dragon Heartstring core (Peruvian Vipertooth), 10 1/4 inches, and very flexible

The ash wand cleaves to its one true master and ought not to be passed on or gifted from the original owner, because it will lose power and skill. This tendency is extreme if the core is of unicorn. Tools, magical and ordinary, made from Ash are especially productive as Ash trees are known to attract energy. Ash people are kind and generous with a gift for seeing what is beautiful in the world and in others. Ash people should be careful that their romantic hearts do not lead them into danger.

The most vicious of the dragons heartstrings, and second only to the Hungarian Horntail in aggression, this wand demands an owner with great ambition and a pugnacious spirit. The presence of this witch or wizard could fill an entire ballroom. If the owner is small in stature, then there may be a little dog complex, and a tendency to overcompensate for this. Extroverted, they desire to be in the spotlight and relish in the attention. Unafraid to argue, they are more than capable of verbally sparring for their beliefs as well as actual duels (or fist fights). In any sort of fight, they are relentless and will give it their all to conquer their opponent or obstacle. Though they are highly energetic, there is a workaholic tendency which can result in mental and physical exhaustion. These witches and wizards must be reminded to take care of themselves.

Wand reaction when chosen:

1st wand: Rosie made beautiful swirls of light and small sparks come from the wand, levitating their hair and robes

2nd wand: A more intense light show, with silver, green, and pink lights and sparks come out from the wand, the force strong enough to make it feel like a wind storm came through the entirety of the shop.

Boggart: A black and shadowy figure that consumes Rosie in complete darkness. No light. No sound. Nothing.

Riddikulus Form: The shadow turning into a spray of colorful confetti and streamers, as if someone turned on the lights and shouted ‘Happy Birthday!’

Black swans, like their white brethren, are associated with love, grace, and transformation. About red color

Because of her skin problems, she is easy to become red when she was feeling hot //shy. etc.

She whole person was red when she was born, so her father give her name 真赤(Makka) which means real red.

For the same reason, she doesn't like to take a bath very much, because she used to come out very red and was joked by her brother that she was a 赤鬼(aka-oni//red ogre).

When she was in Japan, she was also bullied because her red hair was regarded as an outlier.

So when she was a child, she very hated the red color, but when she watched anime with her brother, she found most of the hero's symbolic color is red, so she slowly accepted and liked red, and dreamed of becoming a hero a protagonist.

🇺🇸-Hi ! Small drawing of my OC from Hogwarts Mystery, Tenshi Lightwood! I found it a shame that the game didn’t give us the ability to physically grow our character, so I decided to draw this evolution myself. Being still only in year 4, I haven’t fully decided what my character would look like in the other years yet so here are the first three (I would add the rest of the evolution later). I did this drawing in a hurry, simplifying my usual style a little 🤭 My OC is still under construction but I will be doing her presentation soon. I have been watching the hphm community from afar since I took over the game but for some time now I have wanted to get started too and share things related to the game. 🇫🇷~ Quand ils ont annoncé ANE, j’ai détesté le nouveau design de Leiftan. Genre vraiment. Autant sur les illustrations ça passe, mais son sprite j’y arrive pas. À mes yeux, il a perdu tout son charme et il est beaucoup moins charismatique qu’avant. Sa tête, sa coupe, sa pose, sa tenue... ça passe pas 😂 Comme c’est mon CDC depuis TO, je me disais qu’avec le temps je m’habituerais mais honnêtement j’ai toujours du mal. Ce qui me choque le plus c’est son visage, il a l’air plus vieux et plus maigre... Je ne sais pas, un truc ne colle pas. Et puis j’ai eu un déclic, en jouant j’ai remarqué qu’en fait ce sont ses mèches de cheveux qui me faisaient cet effet d’optique là. J’ai donc essayé de les effacer et... RÉVÉLATION !! 😂😭 Je craque totalement il est tellement plus mignon avec le visage dégagé, on dirait absolument pas le même. J’ai l’impression de redécouvrir mon CDC, j’adore ! 🇬🇧~ When they announced ANE, I hated Leiftan's new design. Like really. In the illustrations it works, but his sprite I can't. For me, he has lost all his charm and he is much less charismatic than before. His face, his haircut, his pose, his outfit ... it doesn't work 😂 As it's my LI since TO, I told myself that over time I would get used to it but honestly I still have a hard time. What shocks me the most is his face, he looks older and leaner ... I don't know, something is wrong. But while playing I noticed that it was his locks of hair that gave me this optical effect there. So I tried to erase them and ... REVELATION !! 😂😭 I totally love, he is so much cuter with a clear face, he absolutely does not look the same. I have the impression of rediscovering my LI, I love it ! Look at that baby face 😍🥺
