Oh- there he is.
"Oi, Sugata, do you have any scissors that can cut through plastic?"
Casually walks out of the local grocery store with two boxes of 2-liter coke bottles.
"Oh? I didn’t know you kept up with which books I’ve read and which books I haven’t…perhaps I enjoy refreshing my memory of the story."
You know I don’t mean it.
"How’d you get here faster than me, huh? Couldn’t wait for the plane, decided to run it?" Well, it was believable…
"What if I do keep up with your personal library? What if I did run here?"
It's not like you'd ever lose your fascination with me. You're so weird.
And with that Takuto took it upon himself to plop himself on the bench beside Sugata, crossing one leg over the other and falling against his shoulder. "...is Wako doing okay?"
Ignored.
Don't you ignore me you little-
"Sugaaaataaaaa. You've already read that book a thousand times. I know you're not actually reading that."
"I spy a gas giant."

Lilith wandered around the city carefully, avoiding large groups of people and glancing down at a small piece of paper she had sitting in the palm of her hand, with directions she had written on to get to her new apartment. She was supposed to be rooming with two people (whose names she had difficulties pronouncing) and assumed that they would already be there waiting for her.
After walking around for what seemed like forever and searching for the address that matched the one she had written down, she scanned the directions once again to see that she had reached her destination. It was nothing like she imagined, and for a moment she thought she wasn’t in the right place. Lilith had decided to approach the building and check for herself. As she did, she noticed a young man leaning on the outer walls. Her intent was to disregard him, but there was no way for her to find out this was the place she was assigned to stay at unless she spoke to him. He didn’t look that intimidating to her, anyways.
"Please excuse the sudden interaction, sir." She managed to speak out, the hesitation in her voice was somewhat notable. " I am trying to find the ‘Dandelion’ apartment complex and having some difficulties. Might this be it?"
Though she didn't immediately make eye contact - let alone notice him - Lilith had caught Takuto's eye the moment she came strolling closer. You'd think that with red hair and red eyes, and having a best friend with blue hair, he had adjusted to unique fashion; but the pentagram style strap of the girl's dress had caught his eye right away.
I want to know her story. I bet she has one.
It'd only gotten better for him when he happened to pause in front of him, glance down at her little slip of paper, and then back up at him. He listened, corners of his lips tugging up into a small smile. "You found it. This is the Dandelion complex," A small nod of his head towards the entrance of the building. "Lobby's over there. Oh, but- is your name Lilith, by any chance?"

It's not like Takuto knew the city any better than she would - as it was only his second day in the city - but he'd feel wrong if he just left his new roommate to figure out where she needed to be heading off to alone. Walking around by yourself wasn't exactly fun, so even if she was weirded out by the small gesture...
Idly resting his hands behind his head, he waited leaning against the outer wall of the apartment complex for a girl to come walking in; all he knew was her name, but that was enough to go by. He'd just have to ask anyone he didn't recognize that came towards it.
...maybe starting off his first day here with 5 AM horror movies wasn't the best idea.
