The Linked Universe I write is an AU where Wild has a twin, which is Rinku.

He’s ex captain of the Royal Guard (since there is no Royal Guard anymore) and wields half of the Master Sword (how? The blade split in two when the twins drew it together. Does it make sense? Nope, but I don’t care)

Info on Rinku

Name: Rinku

Age: 20 (120) (BoTW)/ 25(125) (TotK)

Birthday: October 30th

Gender: Genderfluid (He/Him/They/Them/She/Her) He/Him Days are Rinku, They/Them Days are Raine and She/Her days are Rin

Hero Title: Hero of Souls

Rank: Ex Captain of the Royal Guard

Weapons: Half of the Master Sword, Royal Guard’s Sword, Royal Guard’s Bow, Royal Guard’s Shield, a twin pair of daggers

Normal outfit: Hylian Tunic (dyed purple), Hylian Trousers, Hylian Hood

Formal outfit: Royal Guard Set (his hair is braided when wearing it)

After falling unconscious after a defensive battle against the Yiga in Kakariko Village, Rinku was put into a stasis room similar to the Shrine of Resurrection. Unlike his twin, he retains his memories from 100 years ago, but for the most part keeps quiet about them unless asked by Link (Wild) himself.

Rinku is able to speak, but never raises his voice above a whisper unless in combat. He prefers to sign, finding it easier to get the words out when he does. However as time travels on, he’s working on raising his voice with those he’s comfortable with.

He’s unsure what to think about the other eight heroes of the past, but one of them has certainly caught his attention.

Wild: They... well, I wouldn't call it inheritance per se. What do you call it when you kill someone and get their stuff? Hyrule: Um, murder??? Warriors: Adventuring! Sky: Tuesday.

Hyrule: I spy with my little eye something that begins with the letter “s”. Sky: *looks over at Rinku and Four*  Sky: Is it “sexual tension”?
