Over 30 million years old, this sandstone concretion (called a ‘Gogotte’) was formed in an ancient river system in what is now the Paris Basin. Silica cemented grains of stand together, creating the swooping forms.
Hilariously this post has been flagged by Big Brother Tumblr as nsfw...female presenting silica sediments are OBVIOUSLY too spicy for this website!!!
