Hey guys, I’ve returned from the abyss to give everyone an update on Invictus. First off, I’m so, so sorry for the impromptu hiatus. Life just sort of happened: first with some health stuff, and then with some urgent work deadlines, and I reluctantly had to set writing aside for a time. BUT! I’m past those things now, and I’ve resumed actively working on the fic! To emphasize: I have in no way abandoned Invictus, and I’m eager to get back to regular updates. I’m not going to make promises quite yet about schedule or when to expect the chapter, since it’s a little hard to judge until I’ve gotten back into my rhythm. But I will say to expect something soon. To all of you who have waited patiently and have not lost interest, thank you. Much love.

Hey guys, a quick update on Invictus. I hate to do this after last week’s chapter was late, but I’ve made the executive decision to skip one more week in order to give you guys the best possible version of the story. I’m starting to get caught up, but I'm trying to build at least a little backlog before I post the next chapter. When I post immediately after completing a chapter, I feel like the end result is somewhat rushed because of the pressure of a more immediate deadline. I prefer to let each chapter sit so I can go back over it with fresh eyes before I finally post it. Thank you all for your patience, and I hope to be back on my regular posting schedule beginning next week.
