The fact that Emily is canonically unlabelled means so much to me

I find that a lot of queer representation focuses on specific labels, which of course is good, but it's also amazing to have representation for people who are queer but are also terminally confused and can't (or even just don't want to) figure out the specific details of that queerness, like me !! Sometimes I feel a little lost in this community since I can't figure out my label but seeing Emily like this changed that :)

Let's be real: she's probably older than most of the Earth's history, so she likely predates the invention of human sexuality labels anyway. Of course she wouldn't use one! It makes so much sense lol and it makes me so happy

Sera is undoubtedly older than the invention of such labels and so I bet she was also unlabelled for a while, but probably now labels herself as lesbian in order to better connect with and understand humans after her change of heart in season 2. Pentious was absolutely the one to teach her 🥺
