Hiiunomme for Jian Ye Kakishibu-dyed Capsule Collection "Kakishibu is a traditional fermented tannin dye made from unripe persimmon fruits. Without a mordant, it produces warm hues ranging between red and orange. When combined with an iron mordant it can result in deeply textured brown-black tones. Kakishibu behaves less like a regular dye and more like a coating. It settles on the fabric as a dense, almost lacquer-like layer." — Hiiunomme
