I’m not usually one for altering Twilight vampires to fit my preferences, but I’d give it all for purring vampires because it’d be so funny. 

Can you even imagine Esme gazing lovingly at Edward while purring, put a mirror in front of Rosalie and she instantly starts purring, Emmett crying because he’s a goddamn cat and that’s not manly at all, Carlisle stress-purring through the entirety of the series, starting after the Biology class and Bella just associates the guy with this permanent distress rumble, Victoria going full feline and grooming a part of her that Edward touched, and that’s how he wins their fight in Eclipse, Jacob chasing Edward up a tree...

Clearly, this is exactly what those books needed.
