Ghoulcy - Me & The Devil
NOPE, Birdie did NOT push a button that caused a huge WOOOOOSH (in Vaults, you don't open doors from a button on an opposite wall outside the room not near the actual door).
NOPE, the caption over the lit-up Test Subjects room did NOT read "ominous music playing"
NOPE, NOT the same room from the commercial Cooper shot for Vault-tec pre-war.
NOPE, Birdie did NOT push a completely different button than the ones to open/close doors.
DON'T WORRY, guys, this means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Fallout Season Two - On Set | Prime Video
Walton Goggins and his mission to give the dogs all the pets they deserve
Hmmm...
no matter how much they didn't gotten along at first, I think both Lucy and the Ghoul would appreciate the amazing Mojave night sky and the desert sunsets that seem to last forever.
Lucy: [to Lacerta Legate] I have seen upwards of 15 different movies...
Bud Askins was obsessed with Cooper Howard. His office was covered in Coop's movie posters. And Bud orchestrated Lucy's vault, as we know.
Hank MacLean was obsessed with Cooper Howard. He fawned over Coop and asked for his autograph. And Lucy always enjoyed watching movies with her dad, including Coop's The Man from Deadhorse, as we see saw.
Between Bud and Hank's obsession, there is a VERY HIGH probability that those 15 movies are all Coop's movies.
And I love the idea that Lucy's moral compass was shaped in part by Cooper, through his films. That he taught her. That he helped create that idealist mentality that The Ghoul resents so deeply. Because when she lectures him, and admonishes the wasteland, it's his old self speaking through her. He can see a reflection of himself inside of her.
And he loves hates it.
GhoulcyWeek Day 4: Hollywood AU
Thank you, #ghoulcy nation, for recommending this movie. I didn't know which one to choose between this one, It Happened One Night, Roman Holiday and War&Peace. I simply chose the one with the original poster that I would have liked to draw the most.
Btw this film is delightfully Ghoulcy coded, like the others listed. Go watch all of them!💜

Some season 3 ramblings and theories…
I’m wondering if in season 3 we’ll see Lucy save Cooper from Barb (or Janey if stuff goes fallout 4) the same way he saved her from Hank.
Narratively up until the finale Barb and Hank have served the same roles in their lives, ie people who they loved deeply and seemed to be principled that ultimately betrayed cooper and Lucy, and their principles for what Barb and Hank perceive to be the greater good.
Most people, ghoulcy and non-ghoulcy shippers alike do not trust the post card or Barbs intentions. There’s more to the story obviously, even if Barb turns out to just be a good person put in a horrible situation. (Remember the moment where Claudia tells Norm about Barb as a tough boss, there’s clearly 2 sides to her, the one she shows cooper and the one she shows vault tec to wield power)
My prediction (hope) is that Cooper will go off on his Colorado quest, and Lucy, left adrift after the events with her father will lead her so seek answers about what Hank referenced in the last episode about the surface being the experiment. (I have another theory that he didn’t tell Lucy to protect her because there’s something that if she knows it the Enclave will come for her). This journey for answers will not only lead her to Colorado, but potentially drive a wedge between her and Max, because it seems he is looking to join the NCR and rebuild the world he knew as a child and will want to stay put (or he may go with her idk).
I could also see her subconsciously seeking out Cooper as something familiar after her whole life has been set of kilter, and Cooper is the only person topside (besides Norm who to her knowledge is safe and sound in the vaults) that understands what she’s been through and the person she’s spent the most time with.
I digress, Cooper will get himself into shit with the Enclave and it’ll be up to Lucy to save him, but not only save him, give him the option to make a pivotal choice about his fate.
Conversely, the way she ends the season on the verge of mind wiping her dad so he’s the man she wants him to be is very telling about where Lucy is at. She still thinks she knows better, and she wants what feels familiar and safe. I could see her saving Cooper in a way that betrays his autonomy like killing Barb not knowing who she is (but this I hope I’m wrong about, I would like Barbs character to become a main player in the series and also idk if cooper could forgive her unless he was about to be merced by her and even then)
I’m really curious to see how her relationship develops with Max, because I think it would be an interesting conflict to see their personal goals come into conflict and what the fallout (pun intended) of that is. It would give Vaultknight some much needed intrigue and angst.
I’m also wondering if Lucy will even be in the place for a romantic relationship after everything she’s been through. She for sure will be looking for what is safe and familiar, but will Max be that for her still, after all the things she’s been through?
I believe she was looking for cooper before he showed up in episode 8, because she had no idea Max was nearby
More ghoulz! I’m trying to find a stylized way to draw each
