💞💉 S C U L P T R A 💉💞 Grow your own face! What is Sculptra? Sculptra is known as a liquid facelift because of its non-invasive lifting and revitalizing qualities. Sculptra is a collagen stimulator which grows your own face slowly over time providing lift, volume and smoothness of the skin. It is used mostly in the lateral parts of the face ie cheeks, jawline, temples etc. Sculptra triggers your body into slowly replacing its own collagen. The tissue volumizes the hollow parts of your face gradually restoring a more youthful appearance and smoother skin. Sculptra was initially developed to help plump and even out the thinned faces of patients with HIV and AIDS following lipoatrophy. What makes Sculptra different? Dermal fillers are smooth gels made with hyaluronic acid and restore volume to treatment areas before they dissipate and get absorbed by the body. Sculptra, on the other hand, is made with poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), which stimulates the production of new collagen. Fillers last for 6-12 months, while Sculptra injections can show long-lasting effects that span years ie 2-5 years. Because this is an injectable treatment, it will be administered via needles and cannulas. Most patients need one vial for each decade of life ie a 30 year old will require 3 vials, a 40 year old will require 4 vials.
