“  shhhhh... sweet boy, my sweet sweet peter,” the stone absently ran her fingers through his hair && down his back in long strokes. a blue light sparked from her, as if everything about the stone  was humming.    she sang an ancient melody that she learned from the home she had once --- long ago.  her being reproduced the sound of the wind &&  rain. the words && tune told a story of how the  stars fell in love with a mortal.    she could already feel the pain of it, but most  overwhelmingly the unconditional love that --- unfortunately already settled itself in her chest.

     An open paw would lift in to the air slightly, slightly taken aback by the sudden outburst of independent rhetoric. He certainly did not recall asking and nor did he really care. Why did so many feel that he looked the sort that would hear out everyone’s problems? Perhaps it was the fur; he would probably never know.

         “ i am hardly hitting you with baggage (i do not require any luggage ) && you SHOULD care . you are the leader of this VESSEL , are you not ? and if you are not,  i would like to parle with THEM ------ or whoever would be making REAL decisions about my future. ”          the aggression coming from him was jarring, but not unexpected. the tesseract had heard worse && prepared to be disregarded once more. she had once expected kindness from all things, but she knew better now. this interaction would be no different && she, in the end, would likely be a slave once more.

the space stone let out a breath of relief as the MANGEY BEAST was flung away from her. she laughed at the rocketeer’s energetic antics. quickly, though not exactly CAREFULLY she stood && brushed the astro-dust off her legs and ass.  “ alright, battle music it is. CRANK IT UP, QUILL! ”

“---- ARE you ?? really ? singing at this particular moment in time ?” tess struggles to wrestle a giant alien-wolf off of her physical form. which is truly,,, what would a human call it? oh right ! a MIND FUCK. she had never had to really struggle to keep herself alive before. she could, in theory, teleport but she couldn’t exactly FOCUS on where she wanted to go -- which could lead to a disastrous fate.
