hello is this blog on hiatus?
No, I’m sorry to say it’s dead. Neither of the mods are able to keep it updated and active.
Although I would be willing to hand the blog over and teach someone else how to run it, if anyone was interested in doing so.

I know the mods have a lot on their plate IRL, but would it be possible to update some of the character listings? A lot of the URLs I've looked through are dead or have been moved, so it makes it hard to find anyone to interact with :c
Hey! I’ll see if I’m able to do a quick weed-through some day soon, but I do not have the ability to keep up with the regular administrative work that running this blog requires. Since both of the current mods of this blog are no longer running tesblogs, we don’t really have enough of a connection to the community to do it justice either. It’s a shame to say, but you should probably consider this blog inactive, and maybe even a dead resource.
However, we can turn that around! If there’s any websavvy tesbloggers out there keen on giving a helping hand and/or taking this project over, I’d love to put them in the loop and teach them how we do our lists and how to run this.

We suggest using the submit option while logged off to send people art or drabbles, and so we also highly recommend everyone participating opens their submission boxes. If you requested artwork, please make any references for drawing your character easy to find.
We do not expect you to give your santa everything on their list. December is a busy time for most of us, and we only expect you to do what's comfortable and pleasant for you. <3

It seems that in every major capitals of the Holds, courriers have been sent to distribute notes and pin them on the walls. The purpose appears to be simple promotion of a new establishment in Solitude : “GRAND OPENING! Come and visit the Twin Jugs in the great city of Solitude! Yeah, you read that right. I’m opening up commissions where you pay what you want for the art. I’ve got bills to pay, so any amount will be helpful. You can pay me a penny, you can pay me thousands, I don’t care. You might have bills to pay, too, which is why I’m not charging you a fortune for some good ol’ art. Everyone should have art. Art is great.
As you might have noticed from the pictures above, I draw portraits. I’ll draw your OC, I’ll draw a video game character, I’ll draw your mother with elf ears a beard. But I won’t draw furries cause I suck at drawing animals. Portraits. Humanoids with face skin. Got it?

Well, pretty much all the blogs listed on this blog accept asks and do the whole askblog thing. They just rp over posts as well. :) You don’t have to do rps to interact with people, the TES rp community is pretty lax. You do you, and they do them.
I don’t know about the existence of a TES blogs by type list or anything like that, and I’d offer to make one if I wasn’t already overworked. I can add it to my ‘maybe’ list, if you’d like?
How active is thIs blog
Postwise, not very active at all. I don't really know what to write about or what people want from this. I do try to log daily to update the lists, but sometimes I'm too ill to do so. :)

PSA: Smutting with Underage People IS ILLEGAL
Tumblr is covered by american law. American law says the age of consent is 18. American law also says the production of pornography (aka smut) with anyone under the age of consent is illegal.
If you are over legal age, 18, and smut with anyone underage, you are breaking the law.You can go to jail for this. You can become a registered sex offender. If someone, such as the minors guardian, decides to press charges, tumblr will hand over their records, since they are required to do so by law.
It doesn’t matter how mature this person is. It doesn’t matter what the age of consent is where you live. It doesn’t matter that it’s on the internet. It’s illegal and you can be persecuted for this.
If you’re underage, do not ask to smut. Do not lie about your age. If anyone asks you, even if they’re underage too, say no. Keep in mind that tumblr is public. The loopholes in the law that allow for people under the age of consent to legally fool around do not cover pornography, and smut is pornography.
If anyone is pressuring you to smut, or if you feel pressured into smutting, drawing smutty images, or participating in nsfw memes, feel free to link to this, and talk to someone you trust. If you want to talk to someone professional, google helplines in your area.

Dear Stormcloak Fans and Sympathizers
DISCLAIMER: This is not a post where I am going to argue that the Empire is better than the Stormcloaks. This is not a post about how the Stormcloaks are worse or better than anyone else. It is a collection of quotes from Skyrim that show problematic sides of the Stormcloak movements focused on their neglect of the Dunmer and the Argonians.
Do not respond to this post to prove the quotes wrong by quoting others. If you want to highlight problematic sides of the Imperial, or anyone but the Stormcloaks, please make your own seperate post.
Do feel free to add quotes from Skyrim that you think show problematic sides of the Stormcloak rebellion.
Dear Stormcloak fans and Sympathizers. What I’m asking is for you to acknowledge that the Stormcloaks presented in Skyrim are not perfect. I want you to acknowledge how the characters in it say and do problematic things.
You do not have to dislike the movement for this. These are characters, and this is a story told in a video game. No real people are being hurt by the Stormcloak movement. You can sympathize with their goals, you can find them interesting and intriguing, and you can be fond of these characters and acknowledge that they are not perfect, and that the movement is flawed.
Those among you who deny this and insist that the Stormcloaks are flawless are exactly the kind of people who I am embarrassed and plain sickened to share a fandom with. I acknowledge that you can change, and I wish you will, but as long as this is a view you hold I do not feel safe around you, and neither do a large percentage of this fandom.
