I originally intended to push all my posts to Dec, it’s only 9 days away anyway and it’s not even complete yet. But I was completely overloaded due to the release of BE yesterday while working. So as I tried to watch the vlive secretly, my poor brain had a difficult time trying to process what was going on here. I just couldn’t not. So here goes: Taejin wilding on vlive again, with millions of fans watching.
I know that the whole highlight was “you wanna go naked?”, but after re-watching, I realised that there was a lot of details that were left unappreciated. I am here to express my appreciation for the entire package. Let’s hype this while we’re still high from BE and streaming.

It all starts when Tae is assigned to be the makeup artist. He does his job rightfully, starting with Hoseok who doesn’t resist, putting tinted lipbalm on him.
Then he puts it on Namjoon, who doesn’t resist either.
Namseok came out pretty with the makeup on while Tae puts it on JK.
When it comes to his soulmate, he faces some resistance. But of course, Tae doesn’t care, he does his job no matter what, manhandling Jimin who repeatedly tries to push him away, “Not on my philtrum” and “I’ll see you after this.” Hoseok can be heard asking them to please hurry up.
One more because they’re too cute, look at them giggling as they squabble. Of course Tae succeeds in the end.
Jin ‘hiding’ behind Tae to avoid getting the lipbalm on himself.
But Jimin, why did he smear the lipbalm on like that?! He did Yoongi so dirty lol. They’re all laughing in the background while Namjoon asks “Who punched Yoongi-hyung?!”
I wonder what Yoongi was thinking while he watched all this.
After Yoongi, makeup artist Tae deems his job done, leaving Jin untouched. Not sure why. Maybe he didn’t want to because he already knows he will face resistance anyway. Or maybe he wanted to match Jin with makeup-less faces. Who knows?
But, JK doesn’t agree and feels that it’s only fair that everyone should have the same lipbalm on. So he grabs the lipbalm and tries to put it on Jin, but gets rejected instantly.
Jin’s excuse was: No no you’re not in charge of makeup.
So the baby dutifully looks for the makeup artist to get him to do his job properly. The program won’t start till he does.
However, the makeup artist misunderstands and says “No no I’m in charge of makeup so I won’t be having any on myself.”
But JK doesn’t relent, everyone should be fair, he thinks. So he explains, “No no you haven’t done it for Jin yet.”
Makeup artist agrees, after having skipped him the first round. And here the drama begins.
I don’t know how 'I don’t you to put lipbalm ugly on my face’ translates to “Do you want to go naked?”
Yes Jin, abuse your power as the stylist, why not? But of all things, to ask him if he wants to go naked if he dares to even land the lipbalm on his lips. I honestly thought he should have known better than to challenge Tae with this. Also, Jimin’s laughter here is music to my ears.
Instead of helping to hold Jin down, the rest of them stays back and simply watch. And laughs as Taejin fights it out. Oh, and that hand reaching out to hold his neck. Hmmmm.
Of course, Kim Taehyung wouldn’t be Kim Taehyung if he does not manhandle the Kim Seokjin. The way he easily pushes away Jin’s hand like it’s nothing, relentlessly coming at him with the lipbalm. He’s determined.
Spot Namjoon behind, moving away, watching them, all the while holding Yoongi’s cardboard cutout behind him the entire time.
I don’t know when or if Jin did accidentally bump into his mic while they were quarelling, but here he’s touching his mic/shirt button(?). I don’t know. It was fun to see Jin aggressively pointing with his finger like that at someone, still asking “DO YOU WANT TO GO NAKED?” Does anyone remember if he normally does that? (The finger pointing at something part, not the asking people to get naked part)
Final efforts to resist, and still none of the members are stepping forward to hold Jin down lol. Jimin is still laughing there. And Tae once again tries to pull Jin closer.
Alas, Tae finally decides okay, he’ll go naked then. Even offering himself for Jin to take off his clothes for him. I love his bravery and conviction to allow Jin to strip him just because he’s trying to put on some lipbalm. Arms stretched out and everything.
“Would you take if off for me?” The way he professionally handles Jin.
If you recall, “He likes just the right amount of attention,” and “who are you to decide?”
I’m just laughing and facepalming while I type all this out, look at Jin’s eyes, originally on Tae’s face, now trailed down his body… what was he thinking? Considering taking up the offer? Imagining Tae naked perhaps? I wouldn’t know, but the poor man glitched. Thus Tae won this round. Tae 1:0 Jin.
Tae immediately seizes the opportunity when Jin glitches to move in with the lipbalm, and Jin…. closes his eyes. Scroll up, and you’ll see how differently he holds the other members and how he holds Jin here. Fingers curled around his nape.
And that pinky pushing into his soft cheek, hand still on his nape.
Poor Jinnie is still glitching, his left hand nearly reached out to hold Tae’s waist despite his resistance earlier.
So he barely moves it away but his right hand is still on Tae’s waist lol. Awkward much? I’m still laughing at the other members and Jin’s weird arm angle.
When he’s done, Jin is still trying to snap out of it. He doesn’t know what to do with his hands after barely holding back from putting them on Tae’s waist, so he quickly stuffs them in his pockets.
If you watched the entire thing carefully, see how dazed Jin is here. He looks like he’s forgotten there are cameras around and is still trying to snap out of it. And probably trying to process fact that he just asked if Tae wants to go naked while millions of us are watching. And also Tae accepting and offering himself.
Sure, he’s the one who started it, but he looks pretty shocked at what just happened lol.
Finally, even the makeup artist himself doesn’t get to escape. Not sure if he instantly changed his mind because he got to put lipbalm on Jin’s face. He’s held in place by Hoseok while Jimin watches JK put the lipbalm on him.
Not forgetting this adorable domestic snippet of Tae feeding the tangerine to Jin.

Btw, my top favourite songs right now are Life Goes On, Fly To My Room, Blue and Grey. And Stay.
Also, I’m in love with their positions in the car in the MV. Taejin sitting in the front seats together. They’ve been mostly next to each other in this comeback, it’s so soft and perhaps that’s how BTS sees them in their daily life.
This comeback vlive is another reminder we’re never getting that Taejin vlive. Okay, I let it all out, that’s all :D
