I eagerly started working on this for a zine and then had to realize that I completely missed the point of the assignment. I liked it a lot though so I ended up finishing it anyways.

V has no idea how he got in this situation.
He's sitting outside of the dressing rooms of a very pink store, waiting for you to come out. Around him are bags from various other stores you both had gone to earlier, carrying things ranging from clothing to perfume to room decor. All of them in your signature color, pink.
He stares at the ceiling for a while before you come out. You're dressed in one of the cutest outfits he'd ever seen, but that was normal for you. You have the biggest smile on your face as you brush off the clothing and fluff it up. "What do you think?" you ask, doing a little twirl.
Valentin swears he can feel his heart stop momentarily. He returns your smile with one of his own. "You look wonderful, my love." You giggle, waving him off as you revel in the attention.
"Was this your last outfit to try on?" he asks, hoping in his mind that it was. Unfortunately for him, you dash his hopes on the rocks by shaking your head. "Just, like, one more!" V sighs, but somewhere inside he knew it would happen. He ushers you off, and you follow directions back into the changing stall.
V stands there for a moment, wondering what he should do now. He was getting bored of just sitting in one place, but he didn't want to leave you. With a sigh, he wanders off into the main part of the store.
Obnoxious pop music assaults his ears. V has grown somewhat accustomed to it after being with you on several trips, but it doesn't mean he enjoys it any more. It could always be worse, however. He reminds himself of this several times.
V wanders the store, looking at different tops and skirts. The materials ranged from soft to rough to unbearable. He wonders how much is polyester, how much is cotton, and how much is something else. In his opinion, they're drastically overpricing, and he has said this multiple times. You never really cared.
He stands out like a sore thumb in the cutesy, soft store. His clothes are muted and elegant, always ironed and pieced together in the same way every day. He is like a tree in a field of flowers.
The store employees ask him several times if he needs help, trying to steer him this way and that. V politely declines their insistence. He knows the names of every clothing item, every style you like, and what you would and would not wear. Calling him attentive would be an understatement.
At last, you come out of the changing rooms with clothes in your arms. You're paging through the tags, trying to add up the cost in your head. V approaches you and takes the clothes out of your arms gently. "Are you ready to check out, Love?" You frown and look down at your feet.
"I'm not sure about all of them. I think I need to put some back," you say quietly. V hums quietly before taking your face in his hand. "Is it because you don't like them, or is it money?"
You look away, and he chuckles softly. "My love, let me take care of you," he says, almost pleadingly. "If it makes you feel better, you can pay for some of it, but I'm your boyfriend. Let me do this."
You look up at him, eyes wide. "You promise?" He laughs again, nodding. You beam, popping up on your toes to kiss him shortly.
V has no idea how he got in this situation, but he's not sure he wants to be anywhere else.

hiii! thank you for the request! I kept the reader as gender neutral as possible for my own comfort, just for clarity's sake. the reader is intended to be hime gyaru, but can be read as multiple styles. i apologize that this took so long, it's not my favorite writing ive done.

I don't care if they aren't from the same ocverse, I ship them. Also Syla probably needs something after her last girlfriend was killed in the failed Mycian rebellion.
Credits to @earth2tonez for creating Finch (right), it turns out drawing them together once like 9 months ago for my first artfight attack as friends planted the seed in my head to have them be in a could-be-canon-if-there-are-no-contradictions relationship.

So today is Scion's birthday, as well as the birthday of the person who made Scion as a character (yes, I made the dates the same when I made her reference on artfight), and I wanted to make some cool gift art!
