Some scenes from a recent trip to the big island of Hawaii; all of Hawaii is incredibly beautiful and the devastation from the fires on Maui are heartbreaking. Many of the residents who lost their homes are native Hawaiians who often do not have the same financial resources to recover from such a tragedy as some of the island’s more affluent residents.

Please consider donating to one of the relief funds that have been set up to help those in need. One organization to consider is The Hawaii Community Foundation, linked below, which works with various entities in Hawaii as a sort of umbrella, and is the recommended organization to donate to by Hawaii’s governor.
