Tfw finals are coming up and you can’t practice the damn orchestra graduation and you sound horrible bc you can’t sight read for sh!t so ur forced to practice and then probably fail all the finals

can you imagine if 18-19th century concert audiences behaved the same way as we do in pop concerts
like when the soloist in a concerto has an impressive fast passage everyone would start whooping
in the middle of a nocturne you’d just hear a teenage girl shouting YAAAAAS SLAY IT FRYDERYK
people would bring posters saying I LOVE YOU WOLFGANG and IT’S MY BIRTHDAY. and the orchestra would play happy birthday and the one with the poster would just scream out of joy
i like to imagine this is how everyone acted then
