Hello! Super excited for the concept of this zine. I noticed that this zine is a for charity zine (in other words, money will be involved) and plan on producing both digital and physical copies. Do you plan on bringing in additional moderator(s) to handle finance and shipping? Could you share your past experience with modding zines, handling finance/shipping/etc?

Hi there, good question! I plan on handling finances and shipping by myself. I have previously been an organization mod managing artists and writers for another zine and have participated as a contributor across 10+ zines. My professional experience involves budgeting multi-million dollar contracts + I have run an online merch store before, so I'm comfortable handling finances and fulfillment. The project will also be relatively uncomplicated to fulfill (just a book, no big fancy merch bundles) so I don't anticipate any massive blockers beyond the, well. Orange man situation.

I don't disclose the zines I've been a part of purely because they were done under my real name and I don’t want people from my real life finding my fandom side account. Regardless, if there are any contributors curious about the backend organization of the project, whether for transparency’s sake or to coordinate a project like this on their own, I’d be happy to share budgets/screenshots and chat about the behind the scenes of the zine with them.

For those who do get accepted into the zine, would we be able to do whatever we like with our essays after the zine? Like, would we be able to use them for personal projects? Or do they need to stay within the zine? Thank you!! And greatly looking forward to applying :]

Hi there! Really happy to hear your interest in applying :) Yes, you can do whatever you want with your essays after the zine! All I ask is that you don’t publish the full essay until I give the ok (likely sometime after preorder sale period has been concluded.)
