heres a cute lil compilation of decomi sneaking around, hiding their relationship from bennet and jordan (uncapitalised on purpose bc i dont feel like it)

first of all okay so imagine they kiss and declan drops her off at her place

the entire drive they’ve been making conversation but still having a little tension and stuff

but then the car stops and naomi has to get out 

and she doesnt want to go just yet

naomis pov: 

when the car came to a halt, naomi glanced over at declan. His arm lingered on the steering wheel but his eyes were trained on his lap. 

“thank you for dropping me off,” naomi said, unbuckling her seatbelt.

declan jolted “huh? oh, yeah no problem. uh...” he trailed off, as if he had more to say. “ill see you at school tomorrow.” he said with a final nod, looking away.

naomi smiled. she leaned over, hearing his breath catch, and pressed a quick kiss on  his cheek. she pulled away, starting to say goodbye, when declan pulled her back into him by the arm. his lips landed on hers, his hands going up her arms until they cupped her jaw. naomis hands wrapped around his neck, hugging him to her. 

sooner than she wanted to, naomi broke the kiss off. her arms lingered around his neck and his on her face, as they stared at each other, flushed.

after a second, delcan cleared his throat. “i would love to stay like this for the rest of the day, but your parents might be waiting for you inside.”

KAY NEXT i imagine that in school declan and naomi CANNOT keep their hands off eachother like he just needs to be in contact w her at all times

so when bennetts picking them up declan makes sure to let jordan sit in the front so naomi can sit next to him in the back

and they place a bag on the seat between them

but they hold hands behind the bag so no one sees

and one day jordan looks back and jokingly says “oh haha it looks like u guys are holding hands back there 

and declan and naomi are like omg haha jordan ur hilarious but NEITHER OF THEM MOVE THEIR HANDS AWAY FROM THE BAG

and jordans like “..you’re not holding hands right?” 

and theyre like what nooo

so hes like fine lemme see and he reaches over and to pull the bag down

and naomi and declan panic and let go, switching to a different hand position before they get caught

so when jordan takes the bag out all he sees is THE THEIR HANDS LAYING ON THE SEAT FLIPPING HIM OFF

Taz im not sure if i described this well enough for you to understand how funny it is in my head but if its unclear i unironically will act it out for you i just need you to see this scene

Ok next so basically Declan’s a sneaky little mfer

He makes any and every excuse to be next naomi somehow and he WILL find a way to sneak in some physical contact

Jordan and Bennett waved them goodbye, leaving naomi at her locker and Declan behind her. As soon as they turned turned around, naomi felt a strong pair of arms creep around her shoulders, pulling her back into a chest.

“Declan! What if they looked back? Or what if someone else sees?” Naomi asked in shock, watching the two walk away.

“Then I guess this is how they find out,” Declan said simply, slouching over her and resting his chin on her head.

Naomi rolled her eyes. “For someone so scared of gettin exposed, you don’t seem the slightest bit worried about actually hiding it.”

And ykw. Naomi likes to act all mature and smart about keeping it a secret but SHE ENABLES IT

In fact she’s the one that started it. The first day after the kiss they were SCARED and completely avoided eachother

How the 4M react when jealous/protective (x reader)

say youve found yourself in a conversation with a guy who makes himself a little too comfortable around you for your taste, so this is how each of them would react

bennett

bennett doesnt get jealous very often

he trusts you enough

but he notices your situation and immediately wants to get you out of there

now when he feels protective or jealous he goes kinda ooga booga caveman brain

and he feels the need to assert some kind of dominance (u know how the leader types are)

so he strides over to you in ur convo with the dude

and grabs your shoulders to turn you to towards him

tilts your head up to look at him

then kisses you on the spot, catching u completely off guard

bennett isnt a pda person, but he makes exceptions for whenever he feels like it (and ofc he keeps your comfort level in mind)

so he lets go and you smile at him, blushing

"what was that for?"

he looks over behind you and makes eye contact with the other guy kinda standin there like 🧍

bennett raises an eyebrow at him and looks back down at you with a small smile

"i just felt like it"

jordan makes eye contact with you, then looks at him and back at you as if to ask if everythings alright

you give him the slightest shake of your head and he knows exactly what to do

jordan tightens his arm around the guys neck ever so slightly and you watch as the guy squirms in pain lmaoooo

jordan slowly turns his head towards him with a smile

"you wanna get the hell out?" he asks him lowly, his smile menacing

the guy stutters out a response and practically bolts out lmaoo

u look at jordan with a smirk. "i just know you waited your whole life to do that"

"well it worked, didnt it?" jordan laughs, grabbing your hand to drag you out

i feel like declan knows he doesnt need to prove anything

like he doesnt really need to make himself look scarier because,, hes already scary and he knows it

so he sees whats happening

and walks up behind you so the creep in front of you can see him

and declan just stands there

and death glares him

hes completely silent so you dont feel his presence or anything

but you notice the guy gulp and glance behind you and you just know declans there doing his thing

the guy for some reason has the audacity to keep talking to you, so declan tilts his head, slightly amused

they make eye contact again and declans dramatic ass istg

he slowly drags a finger across his throat, staring right at him

the guy just kinda falters in his conversation, then makes up an excuse and runs out ashdfkjhasdg

without turning around you look down and say, "thanks babe"

declan steps forward wraps an arm around your shoulder to pull you close

"anytime. you okay?" he says, leading you away

she knows exactly how to keep people away

she runs up and holds your hand and squeezes it, giving the guy a curious look

"oh hey, youre johnny from biology right?"

the guys kinda annoyed that she interrupted but hes like yeah

and then comes the flood

"did you do the biology homework?"

"there was home-?"

"its due before the practice test for finals"

"we have a test-?"

"Mrs.Johnson said it was on the first half of the textbook but im doing an extra quarter just in case"

"you-"

"she said we would have to learn the laws of segregation on our own and sent a video, didnt you see it?" she says, stepping closer

"no-"

"its from way past the first half of the book, thats why i figured she would add in questions without telling us. you know how she is"

"wait-"

"its next monday and i think mrs.johnson said it would be worth at least half our grade"

"monday-" "im sure youre completely prepared for it though, i still have a couple chapters left till im done with the first three quarters"

she turns to you, giving your hand another squeeze "do you wanna help me study?" she asks

you nod, holding back a smile, and she plants a kiss on your cheek before leading you out, leaving the guy standing there, completely bewildered

"there was no test, was there?" you say when youre out of earshot

she breaks out into a grin "you know me so well"

Naomi in Jordans Clothes

Relationship is already established !!

Sooooo jordan and naomi were planning to walk to the new cafe together after school

But then it started raining hard, and neither of them had an umbrella

Luckily jordans house was 10 minutes away so they pulled their backpacks over their heads and sprinted in the rain

Jordan got muddy water splashed on him when a car drove

Naomi stepped in a puddle and got soggy socks

Both continued running, making fun of eachother

Eventually they reach jordans house, panting, shivering, and drenched

Jordan calls out for his mom but shes not home so he looks at naomi like 😏 and in response she flips her hair around, getting more water on him

Boom time skip theyre in his room

Jordan notices that naomis shirt is kinda see-through and stuck to her chest

Trying to avoid looking at it he BOLTS to his closet going “ImGonnaGetYouSomeClothes”

*hurriedly picks out clothes and chucks em at naomi without turning around*

So naomis lookin at him like 🤨 but she takes a towel and heads into the bathroom to change while jordan dries off somewhere else

JORDAN WITH WET HAIR BTW ❗️❗️❗️

Boom time skip again naomis changed and out after a couple minutes so she walks into the living room drying her hair with a towel

Shes wearing a grey tshirt of jordans and black sweatpants both of which are too big for her

Jordans on the couch and watches her walk in, grinning. His hairs damp and falling over his face makin him look cute as hell omg

He has an arm draped over the back of the couch and hes leaning back

Naomi blushes a little bit at seeing him, she can never get enough of his smile BUT THEN

“Aww, naomi, you look like a 12 year old boy !! ☺️☺️”

“well theyre your clothes, maybe its because you dress like a 12 year old boy” naomi shoots back, sitting down next to him

Jordan drops his arm around her shoulders and pulles her a little closer

“Let me finish! You look like a cute 12 year old boy 😚” he says, pecking her cheek

“Of course i look cute, i dont need your pre-pubescent fashion taste to do that for me 🙄”

“Ill have you know, honey, that my fashion sense is exquisite 😤” jordan huffs

Thats when naomi perks up

Jordan only calls her “honey” when he has something up his sleeve

Then she looks at what jordans wearing

“oh no” she whispers

“oh yeah” he whispers back

HES GOT AN EVIL GRIN ON

“DONT WE LOOK SO CUTE”

“Im getting a different set of clothes THIS IS NOT FUNNY JORDAN” naomi exclaims, spinning around to go back to his room

So jordan bounces off the couch and wraps his arms around naomis waist from behind

And then fucking LIFTS HER UP LIKE

“LET ME GO JORDAN”

“BUT WE’RE COUPLE GOALS BABE”

Naomi tries to hook her leg back around his, to get him to fall. “WE ARE NOT COUPLE GOALS THATS SO 2016”

“INTERNET TRENDS ARE FAKE LET ME LIVE WOMAN-“

so by now naomis got her foot wrapped around his knee

When she pulls forward his knee buckles, causing him to fall back on his ass

But he never let go of naomi, so she fell back too, right on top of him

Now theyre just laying there on the floor, groaning

Until jordan goes

“Damn, double homicide”

I WAS GONNA END IT THERE BUT WAIT THATS NOT ALL

naomi wants to get back at him

So she flips herself over and holds herself up over him by resting her elbows on either side of his head

And she dips her head low, looking him in the eyes with a lil smile

AND HES LOOKING UP AT HER LIKE 😳😳 HE DID NOT SEE THAT COMING

and naomi gets closer and closer and closer and closer looking at his lips

And jordans thinking “naomiwhatthefuckwhatthefuck whatthefuckwhatthefuck whatthefuckwhatthefuck-“ but hes not complaining 👀👀

she cocks her head to the side, parting her lips

SHE LETS HER LIPS BRUSH AGAINST HIS AND HE CLOSES HIS EYES AND EVERYTHINGS SO INTIMATE AND T E N S I O N

and then she whispers, “jordan?”

“hm?” Jordan hums in response, his voice suddenly deeper

“are you feeling...

flustered?”

SHE PUSHES HERSELF OFF

AND WINKS

AND GETS UP AND WALKS AWAY

And jordans left laying on the ground on his back like some kind of beached whale WATCHING HER LIKE 👁 👄 👁

finally it hits him that he’d been played

“naomiiiii” he wails, flopping back and groaning (hes secretly proud of how well that she tricked him tho)

But its too late, naomis gone to jordans room, getting a new set of clothes and laughing to herself

imagine that their relationships already established btw

bennett had to bring a date to one of his rich people parties so he brought naomi

it got stuffy tho so they decided to get some fresh air and walk around the block

its around 8pm, its dark and a little cold, a couple streetlights are on and the sky is clear and starry

bennetts in semi-formal attire, just a blazer and a dress shirt and trousers

naomis in this beautiful lavender dress

kill me its gorgeous

bennetts walking next to her with his hands tucked into his pockets, both of them just talking about life n stuff

of course naomis cold

of course bennett notices #bennettknowsall (too soon? okay.)

"naomi youre cold. Should we head back in?"

naomi puffs out a cold breath "no, no, i like it better out here. and im not that cold-"

she doesnt finish because hes already taking off his blazer and draping it over her shoulders

"Bennett-"

"you need it more than i do, keep it."

naomi sees this as an opportunity to tease him

"oh, so im just some charity case to you, huh? Do you wanna make a donation of $1000 in cheque form too?"

suddenly bennetts fearing for his life

"wait, im sorry, thats not what i meant i just wanted you to be warm-"

"im just kidding babe"

"ben?"

"...i think ill take my jacket back now."

they continue walking, making fun of rich ppl and being the married old couple they are

naomi pulls his jacket closer around her shoulders, then links a hand through his elbow and rests her head on his bicep as they walk, holding his arm close to her.

bennett looks down at her, all bundled up in his jacket and holding him close

he smiles and presses a kiss to the top of her head, then rests his head on top of hers to look up at the stars as they walk

Jordan plopped down on the couch in the base and let out a heavy sigh. Bennett, who was on the other end, held a book up with one hand, eyes flicking down the page. He looked over at him and went back to his book. Jordan sighed again, louder this time. Declan, sitting in the middle of the couch and playing a video game on the TV, glanced at Jordan as well before returning to the game.

Jordan huffed. “Seriously? You’re not even gonna ask me what’s wrong?”

“We trust you to communicate like someone who’s slightly older than four.” Bennett said, his eyes still on his book.

“But I need attention! I thought you knew this already,”

“Believe me, we know just how attention-starved you are.” Declan commented.

“when did you get so perceptive?” Jordan shot back. Declan paused his game to glare at him. Jordan backed away.

“Please don’t hurt me-”

“What is it you needed?” Bennett asked, exasperated.

Jordan’s eyes lit up, jumping at the change of topic. “Oh yeah, I have something to tell you guys…” He trailed off, a glint in his eyes. Declan and Bennett began to return to their activities. “Jeez, you could at least give me a moment of suspense,”

“Spit it out, Jordan.” Declan grumbled, falling back into the couch as he turned back to the screen.

“Okay, okay. Well I stayed up all night just thinking, and realized that I really like Naomi. Romantically.” Jordan paused, his lips lifting to a small smile as he looked down, fiddling with his hands in his lap. He didn’t seem to notice the eerie silence taken on by the room. “I think I want to ask her out, but I dont know how. What do you guys think?” He looked up, hopeful.

Declan was staring at him, lips parted and eyes blank.

“What is it?” Jordan asked. Declan simply pursed his lips, as if he wasn’t sure how to say it.

Jordan’s eyes widened in realisation. “No…”

Declan nodded, his gaze drifting away. “Yep.”

Jordan threw his hands in the air. “So you like her too?”He exclaimed “What the hell, how could this even happen? Oh, I should have known!” He groaned as he threw his head back and closed his eyes.

The eerie silence turned awkward.

Declan, not knowing what to say, shifted to Bennett on his other side. Bennett’s book was now closed and sitting on his lap, as he simply stared at it. “Bennett, now’s the perfect time to give us your two cents,” He said.

“Yeah, like advice for the two morons who fell for the same girl,” Jordan said, not moving from his position.

He remained staring down at the book.

“Bent?” Jordan sat up, curious

Bennett looked up at the two of them with a straight face as usual, only this time with his cheeks and ears a bright red.

Jordan facepalmed.

“Jesus Christ,” Declan muttered, slouching forward as he scrubbed a hand down his face. Jordan let his body fall sideways, slumping over the armrest. Bennett ran a hand through his hair and fell back against the couch, staring at the ceiling.

They stayed in that position for a minute or two, all somehow thinking the same thing.

Three morons.

Eventually Jordan sat up. He cleared his throat, making eye contact with the other two before glancing away and scratching the back of his neck.

“At least now we can talk about how cute Naomi looked in that purple top today, with her hair down and all,”

“...Yep.”

“...Agreed.”

Bennett after leaving the 4M

Bennett closed the door to the base behind him and pulled out his phone. He could still hear Jordan’s profanities, Declan’s punches, Naomi’s tears.

‘Its done.’ He texted.

In a couple seconds he got a response.

‘good.’

Bennett pocketed his phone and walked out, getting into his car and starting it up. He began to drive, but he didn’t have a destination in mind. He just wanted to get away. Away from all this, away from the drama, away from them. 

Finally, after who knows how long, he stopped in an area he didn’t recognize and parked next to the alley between two buildings. The sun had begun to set.

Bennett got out of his car and entered the alley, stopping on the other side of a dumpster so that no one could see him. He fell back against the wall and leaned his head back, closing his eyes. 

Everything ached. His limbs. His face. His throat. His heart.

Hot tears, one after the other, rolled down his cheeks before he could stop them. A lump formed in his throat. He swiped them away but they kept coming. Bennett internally groaned. He thought he had experienced enough emotional outbursts for the rest of the year. 

Bennett slid down to the floor. He could feel the wall’s texture scratching his back, the grime of the dumpster next to him, the cracks in the concrete under him. He leaned forward and bent his legs, resting his elbows on them. His head was heavy, flooded, but only with remnants of emotion. 

Bennett was used to being alone, it was what he’d been doing from the start. He’d never had many people around him in the first place, except for the gang. But now..

A sob escaped his lips. He slapped a hand over his mouth but it was too late. The knot that had been in his chest since he entered the base had unravelled. Choked sobs slipped out of him, the sound muffled by his hand. He rested his head in his other hand as he squeezed his eyes shut, the tears streaming down his face.  Each time he tried to regain his composure, another gasp tore through and broke him down again. His body shook in grief. In agony. In heartache.  

It was painful, Bennett noticed, the release of everything he’d been hiding. Wasn’t he supposed to feel relieved? Instead he felt empty. Rapid, heavy breaths shuddered through him. The longer he sat there with his tear-streaked face in his hands, the more it hurt. It hurt to know that he was really just a dead weight pushed underwater, sinking lower and lower until he was at the very bottom, where no one else could find him, all alone.

Eventually he brushed himself off and got up, then entered his car and drove home. Once again, he was numb, stoic, calculating. The sun had finally set.
