Next is just all the characters that have recently left us. Auditions for the following characters have been reopened:
We’re happy to announce a Theme Week! Starting Monday, August 12th, we will have Modern Week, up until Sunday, August 18th! I know it’s an early announcement, but we figured it would be good to give the rules and guidelines now just to give everyone a head’s up. So these are the guidelines for Modern Week:
It is not mandatory to participate.
Time periods do not apply this week. Roleplay your character as if they were around today, in the modern world. (Hence, Modern Week.)
All modern threads written this week are to end once MW is over. So basically, make sure to try and wrap up all your modern threads on the last day of MW.
All other rules (canon couples, post-canon, triggers, NSFW, etc.) still apply.
Customize your blog to make it modern, such as your icon and sidebar image! Fan art is your best friend this week. Just search “modern insertcharacterhere” and you’ll find some modern pictures of your muse. The photoset of the princesses by petitetiaras that we recently reblogged is great for icons for those of you that RP princesses. And if you want some help finding pictures, an icon, etc., just message us!
Any other questions or concerns, shoot us a message! We’ll post a reminder next weekend.
We know many of you are heading back to school at this point, and we don’t want you feeling stressed out over characters. Now that school is starting up again, it is even more important to message us about hiatuses that you may need to take. While school comes first (duh), remember that roleplaying is a responsibility in and of itself, too. If you can’t keep up a character anymore, do not feel as if you have to keep him/her. We want you all to be comfortable.
Just so you know where we stand with this, Annie will be a college freshmen this year, and I’ll be a high school senior. Both of us are going to be very busy, and we might not be on as much as we have been these past few months. Just keep that in mind when you send us messages and such, as we most likely won’t be checking this main blog as often.
Kinda a minor point, but if any of you have any suggestions, comments, or concerns about the group, then please let us know! We want you all to enjoy roleplaying and never feel like it’s a chore. We’re always taking suggestions and we promise we’ll hear you out if you have an idea on how to make Magical Disney Roleplay a better RP group. We’re constantly updating ourselves (as I’m sure you can tell sometimes), because we want all of our members to love being with us as much as we love interacting with all of you. We can never thank you enough for bringing your Disney RP experiences here.
And finally, if everyone could keep Becca (Paula, Drizella, Calhoun) in your thoughts and/or prayers, I’m sure she would appreciate it. She’s going through a trying time right now and I think it would be great if she knew she had support here from her MDRP family.
