Prayer for Mental Health
O Master, Lord my God, in Whose hands is my destiny: Help me according to Thy mercy, and leave me not to perish in my transgressions, nor allow me to follow them who place desires of the flesh over those of the spirit. I am Thy creation; disdain not the work of Thy hands. Turn not away; be compassionate and humiliate me not, neither scorn me, O Lord, as I am weak. I have fled unto Thee as my Protector and God. Heal my soul, for I have sinned against Thee. Save me for Thy mercy's sake, for I have cleaved unto Thee from my youth; let me who seeks Thee not be put to shame by being rejected by Thee for mine unclean actions, unseemly thoughts, and unprofitable remembrances. Drive away from me every filthy thing and excess of evil. For Thou alone art holy, alone mighty, and alone immortal, in all things having unexcelled might, which, through Thee, is given to all that strive against the devil and the might of his armies. For unto Thee is due all glory, honor and worship: To the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Testimonies where people talk about how God saved them from things such as addiction, or cured them of cancer or depression, are all very moving and beautiful testimonies. I love to see the joy and passion that these people have when they recount their feeling of the grace of God pulling them into a more happier place.
But I also think about the guy from my Church who has a rotating team of carers that help him with his mobility, chronic pain, and day to day living. And how through him, these people get exposure to daily Church Services, they get exposure to his prayer life and his love of God. I know that from personal experience, people who know that I suffer from chronic pain and mental health issues, that I am a victim of rape and sexual abuse and are therefore more willing to hear me out on the faith. And through that, do their own exploring.
If you are someone that is suffering from mental or physical health conditions, if you struggle with addiction, if you are someone that has suffered from traumatic circumstances (or are still actively living through them), you are not letting God down by not having a testimony of being saved from those things. Because the fact that you still have faith in God (no matter how complicated) is a beautiful testimony in itself.
And please do not feel like you ever have to share your testimony, your story is yours to share or not to share, you are not letting God down either way. But please understand that you are a beautiful and wonderful witness to the faith. God knows what you have been through, God knows what you are going through. He knows your testimony in all its glory. You do not have to pretend to be in a different place mentally to be a good witness to the faith. And other people seeing that there's people with similar health conditions, or similar life circumstances to them, that have a beautiful relationship with God makes it feel even slightly more possible for them. It gives other people hope. And hope is a wonderful and beautiful thing.

Let's pray for the people with undiagnosed depression, especially the ones who are unable to get medical attention by themselves
Sin is an injury and a wound. It injures the soul, wounds our conscience, and induces severe pain.

If you’re seeing this, please say a prayer for all those contemplating suicide or fighting for their lives after a suicide attempt.
Please pray for a woman named Jenny, her grandson & her family. I’ve been made known that her two year old grandson was in reanimation at the hospital suffering from a rare syndrome that apparently affects his blood and lungs, but I’m not quite certain what it is.
I will be praying with you all for his recovery.
St. Panteleimon please intercede for his healing.

Hello,
My name is S and I struggle from being suicidal. It began in childhood and has been consistent my whole life. Not many days go by where I dont beg God to kill me. In December I turned a new leaf and began getting help and looking after myself. In April I fell in love with Jesus and began living each day for Him. I began following his commandments and savouring his word in my heart. I now feel gratitude for being alive. However I still frequently get suicidal and depressed. I suffered prolonged trauma during childhood when I was sexually abused by my father. I struggle today with complex-PTSD as well as chronic fatigue syndrome. Often these conditions leave me bedbound and I am unable to leave my house.
If you are seeing this, pray for me!

If you’re seeing this, please say a prayer for all those that have lost someone to suicide.
As someone who has been suicidal, I know that it's a very difficult and hard place to be... Praise God I survived. Praying for the repose of the souls of those who didn't and for their families. 🙏
CW: disturbing information related to children
Please pray for the soul of a baby whose remains were recently found. Please also pray for the child’s mother and her healing, and for two people brought to justice. Finally, please pray for the mental wellbeing of the emergency service workers involved and for the mortician who will do the autopsy on so little a child.
Loving God, we pray for a renewal of the sanctity of life and the dignity of the human body. Console all our people, wipe away every tear, and establish your justice on earth. Lord have mercy, and hear our prayer.
Prayer Request
In church this morning, an older man named Ed I believe, had some sort of medical emergency. I think his blood pressure was too low. He had to be carried out on a stretcher.
Please pray for God to have his hand over that man and for peace over his wife
