Gotham trying to say Ed didn't love Oswald back is kinda crazy in retrospect cuz it's actually so obvious that Ed fell in love first. Ed saw Oswald arrive at the GCPD to announce he's alive and then a few episodes later he starts following Oswald around the precinct to ask him a riddle. He was flirting hard 😭
