February 12 2016 Sarah and I came up with the crazy idea of moving to the DR where the need was greater.

I had done no research about the island or the need. But I was all in. And then in August 28th 2017 we left for our adventure ✈️

The almost 3 years I got to spend living “that Macedonia life” was some of my most favorite years of my life. From the friends I made, to the experiences I had, I will forever be grateful Jehovah blessed me with that time there.

I started this blog to share my need greatering experiences. I’m thankful for all of you who came to this page to take a look.

But it’s time for this blog to end

While we were still in limbo about what was gonna happen with our life, I decided to keep it up but now that we have definite plans to not return to life on the island, my life doesn’t seem as exciting day to day to share.

So I’m saying goodbye. The blog and all its memories will stay online. It’s my amazing daily diary filled with memories so dear. I often take a look back and while at the moment it often leaves me in tears, it’s comforting to know it’s there.

On our way home yesterday we stopped at the biggest arcade in the world!

I won the jackpot twice on this game!

After an hour of fun, we cashed in our tickets for sobre fun memories 😆
