We are supposed to be advocates for our children. Our job as a parent is to nurture, guide, love, protect, and listen. This isn’t some game to be toyed with. Lives are in our hands. My question is how can you be said parent when your world is falling apart? When you’re at wits end trying to figure out your own stuff?

I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In this world you WILL have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the world.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
