Once you understand that the only limitations we have are the ones we hold in our head you start seeing the opportunities in the good & bad. You start to understand that you are capable of amazing things & as long as you get back up every time you fall then there's no such thing as defeat. Your alive right now & that's all the reason you need to do something great with yourself. Don't waste the opportunity you were given. Get your own shirt at @get_sweatin and use the code"TBG700" to get 10% off your order. (at Chicago, Illinois)
Full day of me working out in fast forward. The gym definitely kicked my ass to day, but I'm still standing so that's all that matters. This is no game. Eating good & hitting the gym saved my life. There is no going back for me, this is who I am now & I'm more then alright with that. Anything in life is possible if you believe it can be done. Take the World CAN'T out of your vocabulary & you will be doing what you once thought was impossible my people. (at Chicago, Illinois)
From weighing 700lbs & killing my self slowly to now weighing 152lbs lighter & living a brand new life it's been in crazy journey so far. If you would have asked me a year ago where I saw my self in the future I would have said hopefully not dead. If you ask me now though my answer is totally different. I see my self doing big things, living a life I can say I'm proud of. I'm becoming the man I didn't even know I could be. Honestly my journey doesn't end when I lose all the weight, if anything that's when the real journey begins. It's been a crazy journey so far & shit I still got a long way to go. But I'm happy & excited for what the future holds. @thatbigguy700 (at Chicago, Illinois)
Putting in work is the only cure for the struggle no matter what that struggle is. Doesn't matter how fast or how slow you work towards your goals all that matters is that you keep pushing forward. It's not easy, but nothing in life worth having is. Stay focused my people, stay strong. (at Chicago, Illinois)
Hard work, determination, & patience. These are the three keys to long term success. No matter what your working on. There's no Short cuts or magic pills. It's all had work, but it's definitely worth every second. So stay focused on the big picture & work way beyond your comfort zone. (at Chicago, Illinois)
It's a life style, not a hobby so remember that shit before you get started on this fitness or weight loss Journey. This won't happen overnight, it definitely won't be easy, & once you reach your goals it doesn't end there because you have to keep doing what you are doing just to keep the results. I know for some of you reading this it's a little discouraging because it sounds hard & well thats because it is, at first. Once you start realising that all you are doing is caring for your body, feeding it the right foods & making it stronger, it stops feeling like work & just becomes who you are as a person. The reason it's so hard at first is because no one showed us to really love & care for our selves. We must first un-learn so many unhealthy habits & then learn what true self-love is. The key is to not fight the change, we must accept it & role with it. @thatbugguy700 (at Chicago, Illinois)
Success isn't the destination, it's the journey its self. Once you have it then the real work begins. You're going to need to work harder then the day before if you want to keep that success. Let's get one thing straight success isn't own, it's rented & as soon as you slip up even for one second you can lose it all. Stay focused on the journey in front of you, don't get distracted with temptations that only offer short bursts of instant gratification. Keep your eye on the big picture my people. It's a Marathon not a Sprint @thatbigguy7000 (at Chicago, Illinois)
Fall in Love with the journey, not the destination. Once you do this it stops feeling like work & feels more like a lifestyle. I can honestly say I fell in love with my journey that includes the good & the bad. Bad days remind us how to really appreciate the good ones. Stay focused my people, stay strong. I love you guys. @thatbigguy700 (at Chicago, Illinois)
The gym definitely kicked my ass today, but I wouldn't have it any other way. This time last year I was in a totally different place & mind set. Today I feel like I'm heading in the right direction. Not just with my health, but with life in general. I'm not planning to stop any time soon. This is a life style, not a hobby. Big thanks again to @get_sweatin for the kick ass shirt, I absolutely love it. If you use the code "TBG700" you get 10% off your order. They make great gifts for those gym rats in our lives. (at Chicago, Illinois)
Got my workout in for today, we don't slack on Fridays especially the Friday after Thanksgiving. It's the days that we don't feel like putting in work that really matter. It shows us how bad we really want to succeed. There is no excuse for not putting in the work. You are here & you are breathing which means you are alive & that's all the reason you need to conquer the day. How bad do you want it? @thatbigguy700 (at Chicago, Illinois)
People are always trying to find ways to get results while doing the same old shit they have always been doing. I'm going to let you in on a little secret, life doesn't work that way. The sooner you realize that the sooner you can get on track & make the changes you need that will take you to that next level in your life. When you fight the change, you fight the results. When you welcome change, you welcome the results. It's simple my people, so don't over think it. Get your shit together, put in work, & conquer this thing we call life. Because We only get one, so use it wisely. @thatbigguy700 (at Chicago, Illinois)
Whats good my people happy #transformationtuesday some times we need to step back & reflect on how far we have already come. It's been a crazy year for me, I have grown so much mentally, physically, & emotionally. From 700lbs to 548lbs I know I still have a long way to go, but I also know 152 pounds lost is no joke. I'm proud of my self, I have accomplished more in this year alone then I have in my life. This is only the beginning for me though, I have much more to come. Non of this happened over night. It took time, patience, & a shit load of hard work. It just goes to show you anything is possible when you put your mind to it. Thank you guys once more for being my biggest support group. I have nothing but love for you guys. @thatbigguy700 (at Chicago, Illinois)
No one is going to save you, I can't stress this enough my people. I would never tell you anything that I wouldn't tell my self. At the age of 24 I was 700lbs & stuck in a hospital bed coming off a leg operation not knowing if I was going to walk again. I was at my haviest & at that time rock bottom. At that point I made the decision that enough was enough, I made the decision that I wanted to live & not just be alive. No one & I mean NO ONE is going to fuckin save you no matter how much they love you. Only you can save you, only you can make that decision. It's not going to be easy, it will take time, & it will take alot of work, but that's ok because the time will pass any way. This is your life, so take control over it. @thatbigguy700 (at Chicago, Illinois)
Patience, hard work, & determination is all you need to succeed. There's no magic pill or secret diet. The road to success isn't a glamorous one, what so ever. It is hard & some times discouraging. But when you know who you are & what you are working for it doesn't matter because you know it will always be worth it. I want to give a big thanks to @get_sweatin for hooking me up with this bad ass shirt, with a message only seen when you work your ass off. Check them out & use the code "TBG700" to get 10% your order. (at Chicago, Illinois)
Fitness doesn't start in the gym or the kitchen. See fitness starts in the mind like everything else in life. Our mindset plays a big part in what we do & who we are. That's why alot of us fail before we even start. We talk down to our selves, we tell our selves lies. We give our selves 100 reasons on why we cannot do this. But it's all Bull-Shit my people. We are capable of doing amazing things, we are capable of making dreams in to reality, but we must first stop being our own worst enemy. We must love ourselves, care for our selves, & tell our selves that we are worth it. Your mind set is everything. @thatbigguy700 (at Chicago, Illinois)
Alot of people over think about losing weight & getting fit, especially the ones who haven't started yet. Now a days there's so many different types of dites & work out trends that it get kind of suffocating so I definitely understand where they are coming from. So here's my advice for that, fuck all that. When your just starting keep it simple don't over think it. Add Water, vegetables, & lean meats in to your life & remove all man made foods & sugars. Start exercising, don't worry about all the work outs you see in IG, start simple go on walks. When I started I didn't know nothing about nutrition or fitness. I started just by walking laps in my apartment & removing man made foods & sugars from my diet (soda, candy, fast food, etc) I didn't get to where I am at over night (still have a long way to go). It took time, hard work, & patience. When you jump head first in to any thing with out knowing much about it, your going to get overwhelmed & you won't last long. Don't over think this. Keep it simple at first & when you feel more comfortable with it then find what works for you. It's That simple my people @thatbigguy700 (at Chicago, Illinois)
