"Beloved, take heart. He has overcome the world!"
I can’t wait until the first time
we sit down for coffee
or go for a walk along the shore
and I listen to the story of your life
and how it led you to me
Love talk.
You won’t have the relationship you want with someone, until God has the relationship He wants with you.
Ruth Portela (via itsallaboutchrist)
Day 18 Even if it's silent, even if it doesn't seem like things are falling into place, know that God is doing something... far greater. Why? Because He only wants the best for you, beloved. Hold on.
Beloved, no matter how sorrowful is the night, Christ promises fresh joy in the morning. The sadness may be too heavy for the shoulders but Christ offers rest. Let it go. Receive and declare, you are not the sum of your sadness and regrets. You are more than the failures of the past. Shake it off behind, greater things are yet to come. Delight in Christ's love today!
"Grace, what have You done?"
- "Scandal of Grace" by Hillsong
Day 17 (Late Post) I was supposed to have this in my blog yesterday, but I don't know why it's not in my timeline. Maybe it's the awesome internet connection I had yesterday *insert sarcasm here* So I have to re-tell the story, here it goes get excited! :) The last two days, Day 16&17, God has been cooking up awesome grace in my life I've got a lot of testimonies in hand! First was about this taxi. My friend and I were waiting so long for a cab, no one was stopping for us! We waited for almost a while, every cab that passed by were vacant! They never stopped when we hailed them, until I murmured a request. I said, "Lord, we need a taxi now." My friend heard it and then all of a sudden, a cab we didn't hail stopped by in front of us! In return my friend and I said in unison, "Lord, thank you for the cab! Hihihihi!" That happened two times, going to the place and going back home! It's such a small thing but it's amazing how our God pays attention to even the smallest details! Second story is, my best friend who is not a believer had a serious cheek infection. I just told him I've been praying for him. I got a message from him in the morning saying his cheek is very swollen, the doctor said if the meds won't work he'll go through surgery! I kept telling him that there is hope, even in the darkest hour, he said that he feels hopeless. The next day, he told me his cheek recovered and he said the prayers worked! It's another hand of applause for God! Third story is about another friend who doesn't believe in God, too. He confided to me that his mom went through a car crash, and is in comma and he didn't tell anybody but me. Losing hope again he is, I told him that God is in control and we'll pray for your mom! He was in tears while sharing, I told him it must be time for him to talk to the Man upstairs. The next day, he said his mom is fine! Oh Jesus, how wonderful are you?! :) Fourth story is this photo. I went to starbucks yesterday and got it for free without having any awards card and stuff, it was just for free! And the amazing part is, I didn't ask for it but my barista friend said it's a new flavor they made and it's not yet on the menu list so I was the first customer to taste it! Talk about unexpected grace! Hallelujah! :) So these are my stories from last time, Day 16 and 17! :)
Day 17
Today I got a free coffee from the barista in Starbucks for free. As a coffee lover, this is something that overwhelms me so much. The barista is a friend I met last week and he said he wants me to taste their new flavor which is not yet on the list! You might say it’s a petty thing, but to me it’s something special. Talk about fresh grace!
Anyway, I encountered John 4:35 again today. Wow, Jesus. You are just so awesome.
Grace… Undeserved coffee! :D
A lot of times when people have a need, they think that if God wanted to, He would just automatically meet it. But Jesus didn’t say, according to your need be it unto you; He said, according to your faith. That’s why it’s so important to have an attitude of expectancy every single day. If we want God to move in our lives, we have to approach every day filled with faith and hope.
Scripture tells us in Romans that “faith comes by hearing the Word of God.” The more you meditate on the Word of God, the more your faith will grow and the more you will see Him working in your life.
Remember, God longs to bless you, and He’s given you everything you need to be successful in life. All things are possible to those who believe! Believe in His goodness today, believe His Word, and according to your faith, be it done for you!

Luke 6:27
Have you ever had some person in authority over you who told you what to do but wasn’t willing to do that thing themselves? Maybe it was the coach who was terribly out of shape, but blowing the whistle for you to keep running and pushing yourself in...
"Beloved, God's grace is enough. His grace is sufficient. In the midst of loss, tragedy, of pain, of tribulation, of betrayal, of lostness, of despair, of depression, of hopelessness, of giving up... His grace is enough. Hold onto it." I pray that He will give you a revelation of His fresh grace. And believe me beloved, your life will forever be changed. No, I tell you, it won't be easy. It's won't be painless. It won't be smooth at all times. But this Christ promises, if you rest in his love, in his grace... It won't be easy but it will be productive. It won't be painless but it will be fruitful. It won't be smooth but you'll always be peaceful. You cannot find these things in the world. You can go have all the fun in the world and yet at the end of the day, it will always be empty. It will always be empty without Jesus. It will be an unending cycle of nothingness without God."
Day 13,14,15 sums up to this: Jesus is on the move. He is showing his sweet grace, making it so visible! Visited VCF Cebu finally, met godly women, met godly people. Oh, God is making it right, I can't even comprehend. Today, the pastor spoke about "Proof of Grace" Christ's story! To think that days ago, I prayed that I wanted to get to know what grace truly is all about.. Then today, to start the new series for the month of September, VCF is tackling on the topic of Grace. So many answered prayers this week! I am so blessed, so much blessed. Amazing Grace!
"There is beauty in everything, beloved."
"Beloved, Know that even in your darkest hour, God sees, God listens and understands. He will never let you go."
"Beloved, He makes all things beautiful in His time."
"Beloved, rest. I'll fight for you. This fight is mine." - God
