Ectober 2023, Day 2: Botanomancy

Just did something small because there was a gas leak at my house and we had to evacuate so it’s been really hectic and all I had was a pencil and pen I take to school to use but it’s my first Ectober so I wanted to do something small

I wish we could’ve gotten more episodes with the ghost writer I think it would’ve been really cool to see more of what he could do beyond the context of a silly Christmas episode. Like he clearly was pretty powerful seeing as he could control things in both the ghost zone and the human world I just think it could’ve been a cool episode to see his full power and not just mild holiday shenanigans

Ghost writer story pitch ideas just off the top of my head.

Ghost writer is hired to write up a perfect world for someone who's dealing with a lot of stress. Danny somehow gets caught up in it and has to try and convince the person to not just live in this story but to come back to the real world.

Danny has been deeply annoyed at having to do a book report for English class and says something offhandedly offensive to Ghost writer about books. He traps Danny and his friends in stories from genres they'd normally hate and the only way to free themselves is to understand genre conventions and story structure to navigate the texts. They all learn a little something new about appreciation for literature.

Danny is trapped in a Ghost writer story and doesn't even know it. Anytime he starts to question if things aren't right, something new is written into the story that makes Danny halt any questioning. His friends have to find a way in to break him out.

Ghost writer has been getting a lot of criticism over his horror stories lately and in his anger and quest to prove his critics wrong, he traps Amity park in the scariest horror novel he can imagine.
