CONFESSION:  My Confession: I’ve been told I’m a shallow gay man for not shipping Lavellan with Dorian and they’re right! If  the male elves looked more like how they were in Origins it would have been great! I tried making a male Lavellan but I can’t. They are just not my thing so I’ve shipped Dorian with a human mage, a Dwarf Warrior and a Qunari  rogue.  Whats even more annoying is I was able to make a cute female Lavellan for Josephine.  I even tried to duplicate Solas’s look  since I find him attractive but he looked awful. So no male elves for me!

This is so true though...the male Lavellans always look off. Even mine does. In Origins they were just prettier humans then something weird happened in DA2 and now they all look strange. Elves are supposed to look androgynous, but Lavellan doesn't look 20-something. He looks like a college undergrad who needs some guidance and will be the victim to some unfortunate frat party. Also, why so lanky? Elves used to be shorter.

I feel like if you don't make a bishounen Lavellan, you wind up with a stereotypical gay porn twink.
