the statistic in Canada stands at 1 in 5 people have a mental illness. many of my close friends and family know that I live and deal with anxiety. everyday is so different when it comes to feelings and emotions, but i have never been so thankful for the people that support me on those days, no matter the situations. i am slowly healing with the help of the day to day routine and medication, and I have never been so grateful. For those who suffer in silence, there is help for you out there. So many help lines are available, school and regular counsellors, and if you feel you can’t do it yourself, seek help to someone you can personally trust. #bellletstalk day is important, of course, but we all must remember mental health is effecting people EVERYDAY and it is SO IMPORTANT to be in the discussion, and reach out every other day of the year.
