Desperately want a moment in a future episode where Virgil and Janus are bickering and Virgil grumbles "ugh, I hate you so much" and Janus softens a bit when he detects that it's not entirely the truth

On the opposite end, imagine if pre-canon Virgil used to say "augh I hate you" in a light hearted way whenever he was mildly annoyed with the other dark sides' antics, and Janus was very used to picking up on it being an obvious lie. On the day they have their argument which ends up with Virgil leaving, right as he's reaching for the door handle he looks over his shoulder and says it again, and Janus stiffens when he realises it's the absolute truth

I often think of when Virgil was still with the dark sides and I bet Jan was the one who read bedtime stories to him when he couldn't sleep. Even though Jan always thought the stories were definitely not his cup of tea, he still read them to Virgil whenever it was needed <3
