Ok I have SO many more thoughts on the new TADC episode but I’ve seen a lot of people saying that Jax wants to stay in the circus due to a traumatic life irl, and I partially agree with that as it could be proven by the live action flashbacks.
However, do correct me if I’m wrong, wasn’t it partly Caine’s fault that Jax pressed that button? The way I saw the situation was that Caine took advantage of Jax’s vulnerability in that moment, and manipulated his mind to go ahead and press the button to stay in the circus. Jax ends up noticing this and confronting Caine about it which leads to the whole conversation at the end.
Maybe people just got distracted from that fact by the possibility that Caine is causing the abstractions, or I’m reading the scene completely wrong as a Jax defender, but do let me know what yall thought about this
