Being ugly is poppin cause ya phone doesn’t blow up all the time and ya battery lasts long.

Lets be real and honest. This was about like what a year or two ago and i look pretty freaking good! I had just lost weight and had been keeping it off pretty good. Plus the confidence was off the charts might i add in. However even so with all that this is the time that i honestly hated myself. As a person, female and african american. You want to know why i lost weight.. To fit in because being different subjected you to friends and the opportunities that you could have. So of course i kept off the weight wanting to always be in the middle somewhere.. Blending in. I wanted the typical life that would get me to not just anyone but everyone to at least be pleased that i wasn't some kind of freak. I mean this sounds bad but it is. I was scared to be who i wanted to be because I can't stand to disappoint the norm. I was already different because of a color that does not define me within but helps others determine what i must be within. I had to break barriers with other things that would change their minds of who they thought i was into something i really wasn't but they were ok with. Time has past and i've changed. Those four years in those four brick walls have moved past me now. I can freely be who i want to be or more so find out who i am. I think this time im going to lose weight for myself not for others or to be put into a category so i can blend in. Ill be the one to let my color blossom in the light and illuminate the world. I tend to be a rainbow in someone's cloud and the water to make them grow. I can and will make a big impact in others. I will teach others that its okay to love themselves, others and the differences the come between us. We might be different but we're all human. Rant over
