I was on twitter today and I saw someone comment that after the horn is blown, when Atreus is sick and Kratos is carrying him to freya. when we go back to the mountain. The trolls are gone
And most of the scorn poles are broken as well. So this implies that someone was there after us. But the question is, who? Faye? But how could her physical form be there at the same time as it is in the “afterlife”?. She’s dead after all. And the “dreams” Kratos has in ragnarok also implies that her powers of interacting with the real world is limited. So I dont think it’s her for now.
Could it be an older Atreus? It would make sense. Atreus can speak the dead language that the serpent speaks. Not sure if that backs my theory up by any means but still. And the mountain holds one of the gateways to jotunheim. But why would Atreus go there? Or is it someone else? Bur even if it was Atreus, that would not explain why the trolls statues are gone. Were the activated? I’m pretty sure Kratos gets the ability to awaken them in ragnarok and not 2018? But why even awaken them? And another troll statue is also gone by the beginning of the mountain, right before the black breath.
Why are they gone? Who was it? What was their motive behind this? Why go to the mountain of all places that just happened to have a gateway to jontuheim?
