kidkurtis:
Kurt had found himself in a dark-lit room with a lock that didn’t work and Pete in the corner. Out of the all the options in their nearest surroundings Kurt decided that a glass bottle was the most reliable weapon. He could hear Riker approach, and despite his body still being in great pain and the blood that had soaked through his clothes, he shuffled closer to the door, somewhat ready to take the attacker by surprise. He glanced over to Pete, nodding his head slightly, before pulling the door open and swinging the bottle at Riker.Â
There was no denying Riker was taken by surprise as the door swung open and he was suddenly faced with Kurtis. On pure instinct alone he held up the baseball and swung, he collided with Kurtis’s hand that held the bottle, broke glass flew everywhere. Riker fumbled around on his feet for a moment, staring the other boy down. And then he went wild. Swinging the bat repeatedly, hitting Kurtis again and again, one swing after another. He hadn’t noticed Pete appear from behind the door as he continued to attack the person in front of him until he fell. He didn’t know Pete was standing behind him until the jock grabbed his batting arm, pushing him to the ground while snatching the bat from his hand. Riker lay on the ground, trying to catch his breath as Pete loomed over him with the bat and watch as Penny appeared alongside him with a lamp, stirred from her hiding spot by the commotion. Riker couldn’t be sure if he was hallucinating or not at this point.Â
