My hero
Quick photo I took that got me thinking for something soon.
Blade Runner (1982/2007 The Final Cut)

“It's too bad she won't live. But then again, who does?”
Came back to add: the soundtrack to this movie, composed by Vangelis, is absolutely phenomenal. Listening to the soundtrack alone has given me both a newfound appreciation for the movie and new experience of it, without even watching––just replaying it in my head. Downloaded a version with an Ink Spots song (that according to Wikipedia was “used prominently” in the workprint) and might I say, the subtle, yet perfect touch to the whole soundtrack. Music, man.

“Launch of STS 95 on October 29th, 1998. This mission marked John Glenn's return to space as the oldest astronaut to travel to the heavens. Glenn was 77. I set several remote cameras around the pad but have a fondness for this photograph made using my Deardorf 8x10 from the press area.”
Mallrats (1995)

Great movie, great dialogue, even better characters. But Brodie’s cup...gold.
This guy is my hero. I hope to do as much as for myself and others as he has.

Fortune cookie fortune along with the photo––amazing. Great, eerie performance from Robin Williams. Surprised more people don’t know about this movie. Hope you’re doing well up there Sy.
