Sam is online, looking for cases when he stumbles across a big conspiracy about the men in black. That they’re real and people have talked/interacted with them before. They come poking around asking if they’ve ‘seen anything weird’ or ‘strange’ especially after murders. Then they just up and disappear, taking whatever creepy thing that was happing in their town with them. They’re used to be two, but nowadays people report one more! A creepy one. The other two where normal guys— big guys sure— but normal guys. The new one is.. weird. Otherworldly. Freaky!

Anyway it takes a few more google searches before Sam and Dean realize they are the men in black everybody’s talking about.

1000 times they were hunting some sort of Creature and Sam was like Dean I think that's my narrative mirror so I feel kinda weird about the fact that you want to crush it like a bug and 1000 times Dean was like Sam no you don't understand there is a distinction. We can and must stomp this creature to a pulp to reinforce our status as heroes. But you don't count as a monster and you never will bc you are my baby and you are my charge and I love you and I took an oath to protect you and I carried you out of the house fire. and Sam's like ok but what if I transgress and cross the imaginary line and become a category of being that it is acceptable to hunt. what happens then. and Dean's like that simply would not happen. Swesson AU where they’ve been together for 2 years when they accidentally find out that they’re brothers. John had lost it and given them up when Mary died, and they got adopted by different families. Dean knew he was adopted, but he never thought that his boyfriend Sam was the same person as his brother Sammy because Sam didn’t know he was adopted.

It happened because Dean wanted to find out more about his biological family, and Sam was supportive because why wouldn’t he be? But then he sees Sam’s name and everything crashes down. Sam calls his parents and they confess that he was in fact adopted, but they didn’t know he had a brother.

Sam wants to pretend nothing ever happened, that they didn’t see anything. He says that nothing’s changed, that they’re the same people they were yesterday and they’re still in love. Dean hesitates. He still remembers carrying his baby brother out of that burning house, and he remembers how much he screamed when they were separated. He can’t believe he didn’t realize the second he looked into Sam’s gorgeous hazel eyes. Now, he can’t reconcile those memories with the life he’s built with Sam.

Eventually, Dean realizes that even though he loves Sam as his brother, he loves him as his boyfriend more. He agrees to pretend nothing happened. In fact, it ends up bringing them even closer together. He loves making up for lost time taking care of his baby brother, and Sam enjoys the attention
