Quarantine, Cannabis & Relationships
High my stoner family and friends. This is that stoner mom’s life and I’m Momma Jane. Today I want to talk about quarantine, cannabis, and how our relationships have held up during this time. For me personally I am an introvert and was pretty close to self-quarantine before this whole thing went down, lol. As far as relationships first off, my boyfriend and I met literally one month before this all began. For the last 3 months we’ve been together day in and day out, and yeah we’ve had our disagreements for sure, but it hasn’t been bad. I’ve been lucky, I have a wonderful man that treats me with love and respect. Honestly he’s been amazing and our relationship has just grown stronger and stronger. I feel like this year will be a make it or break it type situation for a lot of couples and I think we will see two things happening in the next year, a baby boom will happen as well as a spike in divorces. How has this affected you and your relationships? I want to know, is it making you stronger as a couple or are you struggling with constantly being around your significant other. We all go through tough times, if any of you ever need to talk about anything you can message me on my website www.thatstonermomslife.com with questions, comments, topic ideas, things you want to hear about, all things cannabis related, anything, I’d love to hear from you guys. So on to the quarantine and cannabis, how has this quarantine affected your consumption? are you consuming more? less? the same? How difficult has it been to get cannabis? Is the availability high or low in your area? What part of the world are you in? How has this all affected your mental state and well being? Personally my consumption has been slightly higher, generally due to that I’m home all of the time. I’m a daily blazer and for my circle I consume a lot of cannabis. As far as availability there was a little difficulty, but I wasn’t greatly affected by it and I live in Nevada. My mental state has been fairly good, I get a little stir crazy at times, but now that some things are opening back up it allows us to get out of the house a little bit. Some of you have been out of work whether it is that you are laid off, fired, and some of you, our dear essential workers that we are so thankful and appreciative of are still out there working. Since things have begun to open back up what are your feelings on the reopening. Do you think it wasn’t soon enough? Too soon? Why? I have been laid off of work since March, and some states, like my own, we’re seemingly much like the blind leading the blind. It was haphazardly handled and there didn’t seem to be a real plan of action aside from “be patient”. Now it seems that they have a working system in place, but in my opinion it should not have taken so long. This pandemic, I feel, has been a wake up call to the government that we are not in the least prepared for any real catastrophe. When you can’t buy toilet paper because people are freaking out you might want to take a look at yourselves as a governing body and ask, “could that have been handled better?”, “could we have taken better care of our citizens?” This quarantine has been rough on all of us, some more than others. There have been tragic and unifying events in recent history, this is an unprecedented time. It would seem that things are attempting to normalize, as much as it can be. I am concerned that we are re-opening too quickly, but only time will tell. Stay safe and stay stoned my friends, until next time.
