Lago Maggiore, Italy & Switzerland
May 10th - 13th 2018: Where better to spend a four-day weekend that at a beautiful lake like Lago Maggiore right at the border between Italy and Switzerland. Got to not only see beautiful cities and towns that surround the lake like Laveno, Reno, Germignaga or Locarno, but the alpine terrain in which the lake is located offers many beautiful hiking opportunities with a fantastic view waiting at the top! The weather might not have turned out the way one woud hope with a decent amount of rain scattered throughout the four days, but that’s to be expected at the beginning of May. But not going to lie, all those clouds definitely made for some dramatic photos, especially at sunset!
